It’s time for the 2012\u00a0Cat-O-Lympics!

We had so much fun with the Cat-O-Lympics in 2010, we’re doing it again in honor\u00a0of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games\u00a0in London, England this July<\/span>!!\u00a0 Once again, we will be hosting the “Synchronized Snoozing” Competition!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This competition can be entered by a single-cat or a two-cat team or a larger cat team if you can get more than two of you to synchronize snooze at the same time.\u00a0 We have to say, if you get more than two of you to synchronize snooze at the same time, you’ll get extra points!!\u00a0 If you’re a single cat competing, you’ll have to use your creativity to come up with something to show your synchronization (maybe use a stuffed animal or your beans or something??). \u00a0Oh yeah…woofies can compete too!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Here’s how to enter the competition:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    You must submit your entry to us no later than Friday, July 13 (whatever time zone you’re in).<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    You must email us your picture of you showing your best effort at snoozing together in unison\u00a0 (See??\u00a0 Like us!!) to theislandcatsATgmailDOTcom.\u00a0\u00a0Include the names of the competitors AND a link to your blog (if you have one).<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Competing in this event means you are giving us permission to use your picture for the 2012 Cat-O-Lympics.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Your picture doesn’t\u00a0hafta be new, but you must not have used it for the 2010 Cat-O-Lympics.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    The competition is open to all cats and woofies.\u00a0 You don’t need to have a blog to enter.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
