An interesting thing about living on our Island is that we’re close neighbors with another country…Canada!  From this picture you can see that we could almost swim to Canada…except us Island cats don’t like water much so we won’t be swimming there!!

We’ve never been to Canada but mom and dad go there sometimes.  They say there are some good places to eat there.  Where we live in southeast Michigan, there’s a few ways you can get to Canada…by bridge, tunnel, boat or backstroke!  😀

Hey, it’s time for “On the Island With Ernie”
over at House Panthers today!
Why don’t you go visit him there???

  1. Hi guys!!! I would not like to swim either ,heehee
Where I live, we are mostly surrounded by water, but not an island 😉
We live in Nova Scotia. Our place is close to two lakes joined by a river.
The only water I like, though, is drinking water 😉 heehee

  2. It must be really cool to live on an island that is so close to a whole other country!! We just live on a creek, but you can see an Island from our home.

  11. My mum is going to Canada as part of her holiday when she leaves me alone for FOUR whole weeks. I will tell her to wave at you.

  12. Our human will no doubt scold us for being “politi-cats”, but do the Canadians ever “fly over”, are you in danger from them entering your air space, do you
“shoo” them home each day? There are other people we know who can see foreign lands from their state… just cannot remember who that was…
