Look, Ernie! Mom got us a new toy!
Well, it’s not exactly a toy…
it’s a scratcher thingy to keep us from
scratching the furniture and carpet and stuff.
It’s still pretty cool, if you ask me.
I’ve got to check it out underneath…
hey, there’s a toy hanging here…good, something to whap!!
Thanks, Mom! I like this scratcher thingy!
(But I’m still gonna scratch the carpet!!)

Wally and Ernie, that is a cool scratcher! It does look like a lot of fun, and looks comfy to lay on too! Enjoy! And we know how it goes, even though we have scratchers, we still use the rugs now and then … hee hee!

Ya know the beans got sumfin against us sharpenin our claws on furniture or sumfin? They covered it up and gave us this cardboard scratchy pad, which by the way is PAWSOME!! Sheesh …..

That thing does look cool. You can scratch on it, and then sleep on it, and then play with the toy on the bottom!
That does look like a fun scratcher. I still prefer the carpet though.

Hey, Buddah would like that. Me, not so much since I don’t have front claws. I doubt my cheap people would get it for him since we already have two climbing towers and he has a tall scratching post. But he would really like that.

What a cool scratcher! Ours is flat and made of cardboard, but it smells like ‘nip.
That is a niftee skratcher!. I gots a cardbord one and a tree with rope but I still like kratching the carpit sumtimes. I’d try yurs out fur sure.

Dat looks fun! I’ve got a scratcher thingy too – but I’m still always in the “dog house” for scratching the furniture! Or should that be the “cat house”? You see I like to ring the changes – sometimes I scratch my scratch thingy and sometimes I scratch the furniture!
You all will LOVE that scratcher/lounger/toy!! We have one, too, and Grace’s boys have played and jumped on it so much that they’ve almost flattened one end! They still love it, though, so it won’t get thrown out very soon!
(We also have colored sheets all over upholstered furniture in the house. It always looks as if we’re getting ready to paint or something!! No sheets … lots of scratching on furniture, no matter how many scratcher-toys there are in the house!)
