You guys! I know this picture of me in front of the fire is all too familiar to all of you. But you know how much I love the fire!
I would never leave this spot if I could. But a cat’s gotta eat and take care of business…if you know what I mean. Not to mention some meanie around here (I’m looking at you, mom) won’t leave the fire on during the night. What the fluff?!? I think I deserve to have this fire on ALL THE TIME…don’t you??

Ernie I totally think you have MORE than earned the right to whatever it takes to be comfy 24 hours a day. HOWEVER, Moms are pretty stubborn defending their positions on these matters so you may find it easier to ask Santa for a heated bed accompanied by a heated blankie to keep you nice and cozy 24/7!

I have a heated bed and I use it a lot too. But there’s nothing like the warmth coming from the fire. I think the best thing would be to have my heated bed in front of the fire!

Aww, the peeps sure don’t get it sometimes…but…if that fire was on at night and no peeps were there to attend to it, you don’t want your beautiful house to get burned in a bigger fire, do you??

No, you cannot leave it on unattended and I mean by a human not a cat. We have one like that and it doesn’t get operated a lot, only when it is chilly in the morning. It is pretty though.

We just wish we had a fire to sit in front of, Ernie. Our furnace is out again, so no warm radiators. Dad’s been promising Mom gas logs for years, but they have never materialized. Hailey feels the same as you do about the fire. Phod has yet to enjoy it. Not sure why. Think he is just being silly and old.
