You guys! This selfie is coming straight to you from my hammick.
Well, the big Christmas tree is finally up and decorated…and yes, I did my quality-control check. For the most part, the mom did an okay job. But there was one ornament that looked out of place so I had to remove it…and play with it a little.
But after that, I’ve mostly left the tree alone. Being an older kitty, I prefer snoozing under the tree rather than climbing it like I did in my younger years. That keeps me off of Santa Paws’ naughty list. Which means one thing…more presents for me!

Lucky you did your quality check or your mom would never have known about the ornament being out of place.
Ernie, it was good that you found that out of place decoration.
It was OK to play with it a little bit until its proper place was found 😉

Nice of you to take care of the ornament that was not in an ideal place…..we have to keep an eye on what humans do – they can be SOOOOOO inept at doing some stuff! I’m sure because of your concern for the ornament you will be rewarded when Santa Paws visits!

Ernie, we have been pretty good around the tree…only removing a few ornaments here and there. But last night some kitty knocked over our little memorial tree for Angel Twinkle. Fifteen ornaments were found to be lying on the floor under it. Now mom has to fix it. We are sure happy all our Christmas gifts have already been purchased. Thanks for always joining our hop. Our tree went up today. We were both very interested and got #1 worried, but whe makes sure it is properly tethered!

Ernie! Our Mom has to put the tree up early so that I get the chance to check it BEFORE the ornaments go on…I am pretty sure that I will re-adjust some of the ornaments once they get put on the tree. i am so glad to see that other cats do quality control too! We (finally) have a warmish day, I am out to frolic in the snow – I need to burrow a path the junipers and the snow is over my back, so I think it will take a couple if trips. Marv, the mom does the same thing. She put the tree up first and waited a few days before decorating it so I could get used to it.
Being on the ‘Nice’ list is the fast route to mega treats (so we are told). Good one Ernie.

Always an achievement to stay off the naughty list, but we doubt that is hard for you as we’ve always known you to be a nice kitty cat! Yup, Ernie ~ The Nice Cat.
Ernie, that is a good looking spot to rest. That hammock looks warm and cozy! Mom puts soft ornaments near the bottom of the trees so we can play with them if the mood strikes, and sometimes it does!
You sure are an easy guy to get along with Ernie! We hope Santa brings you lots of naps in his napsack so you can snooze as much as you choose. You sure are a good looking fella for a someone who has seen so many seasons come and go.
