Feb 252022

You guys! It’s the last Friday of February. Can you believe it? And you know what else? We’re getting more snow today. Surprise…surprise. Winter just won’t go away.

It’s also Pet Photo Fails time again…hosted by our friends, Melissa and Mudpie over at Melissa’s Mochas, Mysteries & Meows. You know how this works. All you gotta do is post a photo fail of your pet. You know…one of those pictures that just didn’t turn out right and would normally end up in the recycle bin.

I’m never at a loss for posting some blooper photos. The mom has a whole bunch of them. As I’ve said before, she’s not the best photographer…and I’m not the most cooperative cat when it comes to picture taking.

Blurry close up of Ernie looking away

Here’s another selfie fail. This one was too close for comfort and I looked away just as the photo was being snapped. And what’s with all the white specks on me? Ah…the problems of being a black cat.

Did you like my blooper for this month? Wanna see more funny pet photo fails? Visit Melissa’s Mochas, Mysteries and Meows by clicking HERE.

  1. Nothing “fail” about a good close-up shot of the crown of your noggin’, Ernie.

  2. Not too close at all, Ernie. I see your faint M showing that all non breed cats originate from tabbies and carry the M no matter what colour they are.

  3. Ernie, Sweetie has wee white hairs all over her, AND dirt/litter that shows up as white specks too!
But Eastside Cats will always have a housepanther or two…or three…and I know how to de-speck a photo if need be.
Thank goodness this working woman doesn’t have to drive into the office today, while the snow comes down, down, down.

  4. Mom has a million of ’em and she really needs to do this!!!

  5. Nice forehead selfie Ernie!!!!!

    Hugs, Teddy

  6. Our Mom is really good at blooper photos.

  7. Winter won’t go away here either. We got 5″ of snow overnight.

  8. Always good to see a close up. My Teddy likes to do close up selfies too.

  9. Are you teasing the camera again Ernie! You have a cute top of the head though. Stay warm and safe and have a wonderful weekend!

  11. You can never be too close. I don’t know what the specks are, but black cats always have specks.

Have a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥

  12. That was a cute photo fail.

  13. I love a good closeup shot and will post slightly blurry or blooper ones. So of course I love your “fail” today. Try to stay warm with all that snow!

  14. That’s a very handsome fail though Ernie!

  16. You are definitely crowding the camera on this one!

  17. My vote is for winter to be over…

  18. You look awesome to us, Ernie. Shoko’s points pick up white crap too. She kinds looks funny with stuff stuck on her black face. All white things meld in with my colouring so I’m not worried.

  19. Maybe it’s snow, Ernie? We got a bunch more today too.

  20. Its OK, Ernie…Pipo used to get those white sort of polka-dots on his head and ‘stockings’, too. Petcretary calls them subtle enhancements! LOL!

  21. You look very sweet, Ernie. The top of your head is a very impawtant part of you.

  22. Nice one, Ernie. Your mom had the camera right up on ya, didn’t she?

  23. My human gets a lot of video like that because for some reason I like to headbutt the camera while it is running. I hope spring comes your way soon!

  24. The white thingies must be on the lens, Ernie…at least if they don’t walk…MOL…Great blooper! Pawkisses 🙂 ♥

  25. This is still a cute photo.
But photo fails happens to me so much, the few seconds it takes me to grab my phone and put it in camera mode gives them more than enough time for blurriness galore
