So let’s see what’s going on in the ‘hood today.
Well, look at that! Even the wildlife is getting into the holiday spirit.
It’s 7 swans a swimming!
And if anyone is wondering…these are the same swans that we got to see build their nest and then have their babies last spring and summer. The whole family…the babies are all grown up now…have stuck around.
I love living here!

Those swans are cool! We have lots of wildlife in our neck of the woods but we don’t live close enough to water to see swans (and our lake has more geese than swans).

Swans have some connection to the Christmas holidays but I don’t know where it came from. They do show up on Christmas cards as well
Mum says she only sees 6 swans. I say she needs to get her eyes checked!
There really are seven. Two in the middle are real close together.
