Hi guys! For those of you that celebrated…how was your Thanksgiving? Did you get lots of turkey? Are you feeling fat today? We had a quiet Thanksgiving here on the island. The peeps decided to stayed home and the mom made a turkey with all the fixings. I didn’t get any. But that’s okay. I’m not a big fan of turkey.

So today…the day after Thanksgiving…is Black Friday. A day the humans all go crazy and do lots of shopping for the holidays. Purrsonally, I think it’s kinda silly of them. I’d much rather be snoozing…wouldn’t you?

It’s also the last Friday of November and you know what that means. It’s time for Pet Photo Fails…the blog hop hosted by our friends, Melissa and Mudpie over at Melissa’s Mochas, Mysteries & Meows. You guys know how this works. All you gotta do is post a blooper photo of your pet…one of those pictures that just didn’t turn out right and would normally end up in the recycle bin.

In keeping with Thanksgiving, I’ve got a couple of Mr. Turkey bloopers for you this time. These photos are totally untouched except for some cropping, resizing and adding our watermark.

As you can see I wasn’t as nice to him as I was yesterday. Those tail feathers of his are hard to resist!

This one is from a few years ago…back when we were living in our old house.

And this is a more recent one. It’s a good thing Mr. Turkey makes an appearance only once a year. Otherwise, he probably wouldn’t have any feathers left.

Both of these bloopers are out of focus and examples of how bad my photographer is. Y’know…for every good photo she takes, there’s probably at least 20 bad ones. Sheesh.

  1. Happy belated Thanksgiving! I find it adorable that you have a Mr. Turkey toy just for Thanksgiving. He’s really lucky to still have any feathers left 🙂

  2. Only 20 bad ones? We have about 100! MOL Blurry or not, you’re still the cutest.

  3. Oh dear, we were late visiting yesterday’s post … and apparently it was foolish of us to compliment you Ernie on making “friends with Mr Turkle”! Turns out was not true at al … oh me, oh my, oh dear.
Well, there is always Thanksgiving next year …

  4. Sure, Ernie…it’s always the fault of the photographer…has nothing to do with how fast you move around!

  5. Ernie…I KNW that turkey got what was coming to him!

  6. Ernie I hope you left a few feathers for next year!

  7. We had a quiet Thanksgiving and stayed home too. We had garlic chicken, mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was most delicious and I do feel a bit pudgy today. I did my morning walk and since we have no left overs I’ll get rid of the extra weight in a couple of days. It was worth every bite, especially the mashed potatoes.

We don’t do Black Friday. I think it’s an awful way to spend the day.

I don’t see any fails here. You’re cuteness shines though.

Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥

  9. Ernie I’m not a fan of turkey either……let them scoff (say…what’s a scoff anyway?) at our lack of enthusiasm for that great big bird but I leave it to the humans to eat that stuff. Anyway, Mom and Dad enjoyed the turkey and fixins’ and I just enjoyed being ME. Of course I was also thankful for them and that I had a nice house and lots of toys and stuff but I’m thankful EVERY day. Not just one day. Take it easy on that turkey cuz no doubt your Mom plans on bringing it back out for an airing NEXT Thanksgiving Ernie and it better have feathers on it!

    Hugs, Teddy

  10. Fail or not, you look cute plucking the turkey.

  11. Those were good ones with you and Mr. Turkey! I had a bite of turkey but I really like ham better. I’m glad you had a good Thanksgiving Ernie, quiet is good!

  12. Very cute photo fails. XO

  13. These are pawsome bloopers, Ernie!

  14. My human takes LOADS of bad photos for every good one! Like, so bad they are not even worth putting in a bloopers post! MOL! I’m glad you had a good Thanksgiving.

  15. I think they’re still moving, Ernie, like in an alive and kicking picture, you know…MOL Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend 🙂 ♥

  16. Only 20 bad ones?? II think I take 200 for very half decent one, LOL!

Benji wanted to have at our turkey in the straw…its a Ty one…and he thought it should be his stuffie…um…no way! Pipo and Minko had a tiny feathered nip turkey…and they loved to swat it all around.

Our peeps did not do any Black Friday shopping at all! They hate crowds…the more so, these days…

  17. I think it is normal to have 20 bad pictures for every good one. At least I hope it is.

  18. Save some feathers for next year, Ernie! MOL!

  19. It looks like Mr. Turkey has been through a lot through the years.
