Now why would I want to take a nap in that big soft comfy bed there…

Ernie on floor squeezed behind plant

…when I can squeeze myself into this tiny spot behind this plant and snooze??

  1. Why indeed!? Hope you at least don’t pee in the plant like Frodo tries to!

  2. Why ever would anyone think you might like to sleep in a nice bed like that. What a silly thought!

  3. I don’t think anyone should judge you. You’re a a cat and you can do whatever you want. I’m guessing it’s cooler there.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your siblings and your mom. ♥

  4. That does make total sense to me Ernie!

  5. Sounds right to us.

  6. Perfect cat logic. 🙂

  7. You are a wild jungle cat sleeping in the undergrowth not some sissy house cat sleeping in a bed!

  8. Ernie we have a big bed and mostly ignore it. Dad moves it around and we laugh at him. MOL

  9. Who needs a bed ?

  10. Cat logic is so fun. Beds all over this house, dog beds, cat beds, toys, dozens of toys, treats and there they all go, lying in the doorways, under the beds, anywhere they should not be.

  11. dood…trooth…..uh…..why IZ ya sleepin bee hind de shrubree…that bed lookz awesum…it even haz feerce leopard print ! 🙂 ♥♥

  12. Perfectly reasonable question!

  13. Ernie, humans ask us the dumbest things…why would you? And Adora visits us a lot.She is my invisible friend that I chase around the house in the middle of the night.

  14. The flowerpot offers more purrtection from predators…

  15. Makes total sense, Ernie. Hey, at least you’re by that cold air-blowy thingy!

  16. It’s always nice to have options. Sometimes “roughing it” is best.

  17. Makes perfect sense to me!

  18. These are the questions we kitties ponder the tax our brains so much and therefore enable us to snooze better behind plants and isn’t that logical, Ernie?

  19. What ever makes you happy Ernie.

  20. Humans don’t get that sometimes the smaller and more inaccessible space for a snooze is so much better than out in the open. Will they never learn?

    Hugs, Teddy

  21. I gave up on getting plush cat beds for Truffle and Brulee. They like to sleep in their cat trees and on my bed.

  22. I don’t see the logic, Ernie. 🙂

  23. Where’s the box it came in?

  24. Ernie, we think that spot you picked is perfect for the cool air coming through the vents. We hope you had a great snooze. Thanks for sharing. Have a great rest of your day.

  25. MOL! I should understand cat logic by now, but it still evades me Ernie.

  26. Cat logic tells me that it’s cooler up next to that wall and near the cool air vent!

  27. MOL! You’re silly, Ernie!

  28. I totally understand, Ernie. And yoo shouldn’t have to explain to yoor hoomons. Some sekrets are meant for us kittehs only.

  29. Oh My Goodness, Ernie- we cats sure are unique, aren’t we? I say if it’s comfy and you’re happy, go with it.

Angel Madi was not all that fond of ‘cat beds’. In the morning she followed the sun puddles around the 2nd floor . She love sitting on the carpet under the skylights.
Afternoons she was all about human beds.
I kinda like you tucked up behind the plant you can see what is going on.
    Hugs Cecilia

  31. MOL! We are like that too. We have several cushiony spots we never use in favor of ones TBT thinks are worse.
