Hi guys. Yeah, you’re probably all tired of seeing me lying in front of the fireplace. But when that fire is on, this is the warmest spot in the house. And no self-respecting cat would say no to a warm spot…am I right?
The mom finally started decorating for the holidays. You can see part of our little tree in the background there. She put the big tree up too…she just needs to decorate it. Y’know…hang some of those fun cat toys…er, I mean ornaments…all over it.
Of course, I’ve made it my responsibility to snoopervise the decorating. But for some reason the mom doesn’t want my help. I’m so unappreciated! Y’know…I should take my talents elsewhere.
Anyone need help with decorating? I’ll work for treats!

Ernie, you can come up to our place, and hang out with our other snoopervisors Manny and Chili Bruce!
Ernie…it is a know fact humans require constant and intense snoopervision and the Snoopervisior should be paid in treats
Hugs Cecilia
Ernie, you are such a good kitty to offer to help – MOL! Enjoy that cozy spot sweetie.
I am a bit jealous of your fireplace. We have one but it cannot be used.
Oh well, the floor vents are mighty warm this time of year 🙂
Purrs, Julie
Hey, your fireplace is a purrfect cozy spot so enjoy it Ernie!
Cats do love to be warm and they also like to be wherever they want to be. You’re doing it right.
I’m sure we’re going to see more of moms decorations.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. My best to your mom. ♥
Ernie I think in front of the fireplace is the purrrfect spot to rest and watch the entertainment of people TRYING to decorate the tree as well as YOU could!
Hugs, Teddy
Ernie such a wonderful cosy warm home. Looking handsome as always. Hugs and Purrs.x
The newbies have already learned the joys of sitting by a heating vent. I think they’d do anything for a fireplace.
You have the right idea Ernie, relaxing in front of the cozy fire.
Ernie that is the best seat in the house so no worries, just get those toys, er, decorations at 3 am MOL

You are obviously an excellent snoopervisor, Ernie!
That is my favourite place at this time of year too, Ernie.
Mum keeps the decorating to a minimum. Glad you have a warm spot to nap.
Our decorating is pretty much done but you can still come for treats! Mudpie says you can have anything but her squeezies.

I wish we had a working fireplace, Ernie!
Nice of you to offer help, Ernie! Our human is lazy and may decide not to put up any decor. Purrs and hugs to you!
We would totally hire you!
Now that’s a sweet spot, Ernie! Can you come help our mom decorate?
I was wondering if YOU need any help Ernie! I would sure have fun playing with your cat toy tree! MOL! (wink) Love, Roary
Ernie, we think that it’s the right spot to be at during these cooler days. You better make sure that the decorating goes the way you want it. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day and stay nice and warm.
That looks like a very cozy spot, especially with the spark-catcher screen open. You’re living dangerously!
Fireplaces are popular with humans as well as cats. When the power is out we depend upon them. Big Scooby the cat here has knocked over the Christmas tree twice already. then his parter Zeke the cat bats the ornaments around the floor. Christmas time is such fun, is it not? I am sure you never would think of doing something like that would you Ernie?
I never tire of seeing you in any photo. Thanks for the kind words you left for me on the loss of Jinx. XO
Well done, Ernie! In front of the roaring fireplace is exactly where a cat should be in the winter. 🙂
You are right, who would say no to a nice warm spot?
The Christmas decoration looks so beautiful. I have no idea why your mom won’t want your help, though 🙂
You should just stay there in front of the fireplace and enjoy a nice warm nap. Let the humans do all the work 🙂
Our Cat Toy Tree went up on Monday and got decorated yesterday. We are quite pleased that our favorite toys are still in paws teach!

We never get sick of a cat in front of a fire–that is why we have so many photos of kitties and a fireplace too!
Or you can just lounge by the fire and watch Mom do all the work, Ernie! That’s not so bad! 🙂
I bet you’re a great helper! We have a fireplace and no need to use it. But I bet our cats would love it.
I should have read this post last week. [sic] Pop decorated but that bores me so I stay in my igloo. I do play with the boxes when they come out. Dunno if we’re getting a tree this year since Uncle Vice always takes us and his friend came down with the crony virus. The peeps don’t want to risk seeing him right now.
What this was supposed to lead up to was I would have hired you to snoopervise Pop.
The Christmas decoration looks so beautiful. I think in front of the fireplace is the perfect spot to rest and watch the entertainment of people trying to decorate the home.
