Hi everybuddy. Well here it is, the end of October AND the last Friday. So you know what that means. That’s right…it’s time for Pet Photo Fails…a monthly blog hop hosted by our friends, Melissa and Mudpie over at Melissa’s Mochas, Mysteries & Meows. You know how this works by now. All you gotta do is post a blooper photo of your pet…one of those pictures that just didn’t turn out right and would normally end up in the recycle bin.
Since Halloween is tomorrow, I’ve got a Halloween flashback blooper for you. This was taken a few years ago when the lady with the yellow hair tried to get me to wear a stupid pumpkin hat. What is with humans trying to make us cats wear costumes? Don’t they know us cats don’t like wearing stuff? Well, unless you’re Summer Samba, I guess. She likes wearing costumes and dresses. But not me.
As you can see, I was totally not into wearing this hat. I wouldn’t look at the camera and all I could think about was getting this thing off of me. She hasn’t tried dressing me up since this big fail. Smart move on her part.

Island Cat mom here. Zoey could use the Power of the Purr. She’s having a pancreatitis flare-up, and is not feeling well and hasn’t been eating much lately. Needless to say, I’m worried about her. So if you could keep her in your thoughts and prayers, she and I would appreciate it.

Well you do look rather unhappy about the hat even though it looks quite fetching on you!! I will not not not tolerate clothing of any kind – including a collar! I don’t mind my harness because it means “WALK OUTSIDE” but anything else – FORGETABOUTIT!

I don’t think Bear and Ellie would be amused with costumes. You are gorgeous as always though, Zoey. We truly hope Zoey hangs in there and starts feeling better. We’ll be thinking of you all and praying – plus sending all our love.
We have some funny masks but NO WAY, JOSE, am I putting on one of those. Mama sets them beside me and tried to make the photo look as if I was (dumb enough to be) wearing one.
Oh dear, we’ll surely keep sweet Zoey in our thoughts and will send tons and tons of purrs and purrayers your way.
I can’t imagine any of our boys letting me put a Halloween costume on them, especially Floki. I have a simple collar for him that I need to put on him before our trip and I am stressing about how I am going to do it.

I don’t blame you for not wanting to look at the camera. I wouldn’t either if my human made me wear a pumpkin hat. Thankfully, my costume this year didn’t include a hat, but some of them in previous years have. Winks.
My cat would have no part of the Halloween costume either. He looked at me as if I were crazy. He did, however, welcome the tidbits of treats he received from the candy bowl. 🙂
