Ernie looking down heat vent

You guys! Something’s down there! Some sort of creature…I just know it! I can feel its hot breath on me sometimes. And y’know what? That hot breath feels pretty good. It warms my furs.

Ernie looking down heat vent

Hey you down there! Keep breathing! Just don’t eat any garlic, okay? I don’t want stinky hot breath on me.

  5. Be careful Ernie, it could be Pennywise!!!

  6. Must be a dragon but he’ll be gone in spring

  7. Ernie must be good if it’s keeping you warm.

  8. Cooper Murphy likes to stand over the air vent in the bathroom; though, he prefers the cool air. Only the addition has vent. We kitties worship at the radiators in the rest of the house. Have a good week. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  9. Warms are warms, Enjoy them while you can!

  10. LOL it’s great as long as the breath is not garlicy 🙂

  11. We are in that lovely time of year, where it’s cold, then warm, then cold…
    Stay warm my friend!

  12. Stinky hot breath indeed. This post made me smile.

Have a purrfect day and week. My best to your mom. ♥

  13. Ernie, you are just too funny. In the next couple of months, the hot breath will be replaced by the cold breath one. Thanks for the wonderful share. We hope the weather will be warmer for you soon. Have a fun rest of your week.

  14. The warm dragon is doing a good job for you Ernie!

  15. Oh, you have to be the funniest kitty alive. Maybe ask it to eat sardines….
By the way, is there any way to get my info to pop into the name, email and website spaces automatically?

  16. Yeah, garlic would not be good! Then your furs would be stinky!

  17. Must be a friendly creature Ernie if he’s helping to keep you warm.

  18. Ernie, you are too cute and too funny today – MOL!

  19. I’m grateful for those hot breath guys this time of year!

    Hugs, Teddy

  24. MOL, we hope so for you ! Purrs

  25. Pretty soon, the hot will turn to cold. I’m glad you didn’t have a critter down there. We’ve had critters in the crawl space pulling the insulation off the outside of the vent tubes. Luckily they weren’t in the tubes.

  26. It is the heaty monster that lives in our dungeon.

  27. MOL this is too cute!

  28. Warm air is always good, in winter.

  29. Maybe its a dragon? 🙂

  31. As long as it doesn’t come out, Ernie.

  32. it’s a monster, Ernie! just be sure that little grate stays in place. you know what? we have vent thingys up high on our walls and we think there is a creature behind them too!

    minnie, hollie, sharpie, ditto, TL

  33. Our vents are in the walls…so they blow over us, not up from under to warm our bellies like your creature hot air blower…. What is in the floors here are large grated cold air returns and sometime there are REAL critters in there…if I peer into it…I can see a mousie…sometimes….if petcretary sees me doing that …well she goes crazy trying to eradicate my source of entertainment…sigh…

You do look curious, Ernie, did you see any monsters down there??

  34. You have a warm breath beast beneath your house, too, Ernie? We kind of like our own beast quite a bit. That warm breath is quite nice in the winter. Purrs!

  35. We have a cool breath around here today.

  36. Luke will back you up on that, Ernie, he says things live down those vents too. 🙂

  37. Hey, that thing has hot breath at our house, too, Ernie. Yes, no garlic!

  38. Maybe there’s a cheese flavour in it, Ernie?…MOL 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy Wednesday
