Hi everybuddy. Look what we got. It’s a Trader Joe’s Advent calendar for cats.
We saw some of our friends talking about this calendar but we don’t have a Trader Joe’s near us so we didn’t think we would be able to get one. However…our good friend Mudpie’s mom offered to send us one…and did! Thank you!
What’s an advent calendar? It’s a special calendar used to count down the days of Advent…the 24 days before Christmas…and the coming of Christmas. Starting December 1, you celebrate each day with a little treat. Until Christmas day which of course is the biggest treat of all.
Treats?!?! Oh yeah! I’m gonna love Advent! Too bad we can’t start now!

I personally believe we should replace our existing calendars with just the 25-day cat advent calendar each month.

Whoa! You were professional Zoey. All TW got was bloopers for next week and it’s her fault. Mudpie’s mom got our’s too but it cost lots of green papers. Now there’s pressure on me to LIKE the treats.
Mau and Sawyer are really excited, as they got one of these calendars from Allie and Noelle…their’s came by way of Mom Melissa as well. Wonder if she bought out the sore. I’m so excited that you guys got an Advent calendar! That was so nice of Mudpie’s human.
Works for us! Since my father’s from Frankenmuth – and every year we went to Bronner’s – we always had an advent calendar as kids. I’ve seen them more this year than I have in the past 20 or so years. It used to be nearly impossible to find them outside of Bronner’s.
Cool that you scored one. Trader Joe’s is around but mum says with the borked ankle she won’t drive that far!

Every time I look for a calendar, I end up with a boring one. Always looking for one with pictures of nature and animals. A cats’ calendar sounds like a great idea.
New calendars arrive here around September or end of August.
