Hey Ernie. Why are you in your carrier…or PTU…prisoner transport unit…as you like to call it. You’re not going to the vet. Not today at least.
This is my PTU? I thought it was a bed for me. Look at the label on the side there, mom. It says “mobile pet bed.” BED. As in a place to take a snooze. Nothing about an evil carrier.
Ernie…it’s your Sleepypod. While it may look and feel like a bed, it really is your carrier for when you go to the vet.
I claim false advertising! And don’t you get any ideas about taking me to the vet just because I’m in here.

Ernie, you just make yourself at home, and nap away the day! Isn’t there a rule on The Cat Contract that says a cat will never be sleeping in their PTU when it’s time for a vet visit…wait a minute….*flip flip flip* Here it is, Page 104, Paragraph 17, lines 10-11: A cat can sleep wherever it wants to, including in or around a cat carrier, crate, or PTU, but not at any time that is convenient for the human to close up said device to transport to a veterinary visit.”
Ernie, you seem really confortable! My cat would never sleep in his carrier. He’s terrified of going to the vet.
I bet I wouldn’t get so upset if I had to go to the V.E.T. in a Sleepypod. Looks very comfortapurr.
Oh yea, that’s false for sure, they need to call it the Best You Can’t Sleepy On the Way to the Vet!

It is a napping place and nothing more. It does not go to the vet by itself.

It does look more like a comfy bed, Ernie, but beware that top that could trap you inside.

I have a Sleepypod, but I only go to cat shows and public appearances in it! There’s a separate, hidden carrier for vet visits.
Never argue with a cat … especially a comfortable one.
Humans are pretty darn sneaky Ernie – watch out – that bed can be ZIPPED UP!

That is a very cool PTU but I would think it would become less appealing after the first trip to the vet.

Erns, you are so-o lucky to have one of those Sleepypods! I’ve been wanting one myself. Maybe you should move yours to a secret place where the humans can’t find it, so it can never be hauled off with you in it to the V-E-T. Tummy tickles.
