Hi guys. I’m watching Cat TV today…this time from one of the upstairs windows.
I’m watching a program I don’t get to see that often and it really has my attention. Do you know what it is? Do you?? Oh, you’ll probably never guess right…so let me show you.
See those two white things out there? It’s the Swan Show!
We see this pair of swans all the time swimming around…but they don’t typically come up on our backyard shoreline like this. So I get to watch them a little closer today. The mom says you don’t want to get too close to them because they can be mean sometimes…they’ve been known to attack humans. I bet they would never attack a cat…right?
Oh, before I forget…here’s my swan-watching selfie for today.
Now it’s back to watching more of the Swan Show! You never know when the show will end.

Ernie, I bet they are fun to watch. I do believe they would go after you Ernie, so good thing you are inside. You all have a fun day.
Those swans are very pretty. Your selfie is pawsome…. Such a handsome mancat.
There are two of those in the park where Mom walks and they will go up and peck on woofies and chase humans!!
Nice selfie!
The Florida Furkids
That’s a very special show you have there, Ernie. We’ve never even seen that channel on our Cat TV!
Dad says those swans just might go after you. They’re pretty to watch from afar, but they’re big and kind of scary up close. 🙂
That is one terrific swan watchin’ selfie Ernie!
How beautiful Ernie. I have heard that about Swans…
We love your cat tv, Ernie. Purrs and hugs!
WOW! They are really pretty but I too have heard they can be a little “touchy”. Nice to see them though isn’t it!
Hugs, Teddy
Ernie, what a wonderful new place y’all have, swans and a beautiful view!
Great selfie Ernie and what a V I E W you have from your rear window.
Swans are most graceful…that is until you get to close then they get a wee bit testy
Hugs Cecilia
HI, Ernie! Swans and geese are two species I do NOT like. They are big strong and dangerous. You did well to get to see them on Swan TV rather than in real life. I wonder if they do repeats of the show so I can catch up on the goings on on your river? 😉
Purrs
ERin
Great TV show and wish we could all watch it with you, Ernie. But keep your distance those birds are very very schizophrenic.
Those swans are gorgeous, but don’t go too close to them. Purrs
Great selfie and TV, Ernie. Your mom’s right though, swan’s have been known to break a human’s arm with their wings. That is usually when they have a nest and feel threatened though. Usually they come and take bread from our hands when we feed them.
Wow Swan Show! You are so lucky to have such a great TV! And your swan-watching selfie is fantastic, Ernie 🙂
Happy Sunday to you xo
That’s a special show, Ernie. You are very lucky, but we agree with your mom, stay a safe distance away in the house. Beautiful to look at…not good to touch. Nice selfie. Thanks for hopping over to see us. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Watching swans is fun, but tangling with a swan is a bad idea! Enjoy your Sunday!
What a fun show!! Your new home is so awesome, Ernie.
You have your own live version of Swan Lake- cool!
Those swans can be a bit peckish and we mean that in the pecking way but they must be such fun to watch. Thanks for sharing them
Ernie, you have great bird TV reception at your new house. just don’t test that “swans won’t attack cats” theory in the furs 😉 great selfie too! purrs,
pip, minnie, hollie, sharpie, ditto, TL
Windows are pawsome for watching wildlife.
WE love to watch the birds and squirrels too!
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
You sure get some great TV shows at your house!
How cool you have swans coming to visit.
Wow our human was dazzled by your amazing view out that window. Wow wow wow! She used to do nothing but photograph swans, geese and ducks. It took us a long time, but we finally purr-sueded her to stay indoors and take pictures of US! Still she loved your view and your swans and geese and whatever else is out there!

They look like fun!
What great TV ya got!
Um, Ernie… I don’t think a kitty should get too near those swans either!
Swans are so pretty but I know geese can be really mean so I’d steer clear of swans too.
That’s the best view ever, Ernie, first row for swan tv, but I think you have to be very careful when they have little swanies 😀 Great watching Selfie! Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you 🙂 <3
Beautiful selfies!
Thanks for sharing your swan show! I’ll bet you could just lay there for hours and hours watching those big white birds. We have a family or two of geese right up the road here that hold up traffic routinely these past few weeks. If I light a fire under dad’s butt we’ll get the photos together for an upcoming post. Have a great week, y’all!
Swans? Hmmmm. Those are a kind of birdie, aren’t they? We have never seen swans – except on Human TeeVee. But Our Human’s TeeVee has not been working for over a week!
We have tried to interest her in Bird TeeVee but She doesn’t seem to appreciate it.
You are furry lucky to have such a lovely view in your backyard.
There is something called ‘Swan Upping’ that happens each year on the UK on the River Thames. Mute swans like these are ringed as belonging to the Queen or another important person (not sure who though…..)
As you say, they are fierce and I would not want to go ANYWHERE near them!!!!
Oh wow! What a great show!
You have the best (and prettiest) cat TV over there!
