Hi guys. We’re sorry we haven’t been around much lately but it’s a sad time here on the island. Wally’s kidney disease has taken a turn for the worse. We fear he will be leaving us soon. Please purr for him.

I just found out (Tuesday evening) that wally has left us for Summerland. Please accept our condolences. I have loved Wally from the 1st time I found your blog….he will always live in my heart & yours…..May all your memories be a comfort to you now & in the future….

Every cat wants to be an Island Cat, but Wally was one of the lucky few who really hit the jackpot. We know that you will be very sad for quite a long time, and all of us in the cat blog world will miss his sweet and adventurous presence. You gave Wally a great kitty life, and we hope that one day, when the time is right, he’ll send you a new candidate to be an Island Cat. Much love from Spitty and me
