Hi guys! Just checking in with all of you. I bet you’re all wondering how the move to our new house is going. Well…we haven’t officially moved yet. Oh I know what you’re thinking…we’ve been moving for months it seems…what’s taking so long and when will we finally move? The thing is we didn’t have to move right away from our old house and since our new house is only about 5 minutes away, the mom and dad decided to move slowly and try to do a lot of stuff themselves. The big pieces of furniture will be left for the professionals to move.
But now the mom says it’s getting to be “crunch time” and this place is really emptying out! Stuff is disappearing…cupboards and closets are bare. Even our big cat tree is gone! Lemme tell you a funny story about that. As the mom and dad were carrying the big tree out, I tried to stop them by jumping on it and meowing at them to put it down. I did not want that cat tree to leave. But all my efforts were unsuccessful…and out the door it went. RATS! I’m holding down this boogie mat so it doesn’t go anywhere.
The plan is for us to be in our new house in a couple of weeks. And then…let the exploring begin!

It’s good that you have plenty of time to move. Although not so good that you have lost your car tree to the new house already. Hopefully you’ll be reunited with it soon.
That is pretty darn cute that you jumped on the car tree, Wally. Nice try. Just think how much fun it will You all have a great day. Don’t let go of the mat, Wally.
that mat isn’t going anywhere anytime soon…
So exciting! Can’t wait for pics!
Wally, they took your cat tree!?! You’d better sit on that mat, otherwise they’ll whisk that way from under you too. Human can be so uncatlike sometimes…
Wally, we absolutely cannot believe your parents would take your cat tree to the new house when you still aren’t moving for a few weeks. That should not have moved until you do. We think you should demand its return. It was great to see you today. You look meowvolous! Wally, You stay on that mat and don’t let them have it! It will be fun moving to a new place and finding all your things again!
Wally that sounds like a purrfectly planned move to me.
hugs cecilia
Can’t wait till your all in your new home how exciting and wonderful. Hugs and Purrs.x
sounds like they have a good plan in place – can’t wait to hear about your new adventures
I like the peeps approach to moving. A little at a time. Less exhausting.
You hold down that mat so it will stay where you want it.
Have a purrfect day and rest of the week. My best to your peeps. ♥
You better watch out, Wally, they might take out that boogie mat right from underneath you!! MOL
Your parents are so lucky they can take their time moving, and you’re going to have so much fun exploring when you get there!
Oh my cod, even your cat tree wasn’t spared, Wally? I sure hope you are reunited with it soon!
Truth be told, your move sounds like the one I made a couple years ago. I moved out of my parents house, to a house I bought just a couple doors down from them. My parents let me take my sweet time emptying my stuff out of their house, so I ended up moving over a span of something like 3 or 4 months.
It’s exciting and stressful at the same time, isn’t it ? Purrs
Oh, you are going to have SO MUCH FUN!!!!
Mee-yow Wally you did well tryin to keep yore tree there with you. Stacy on yore boogie mat fore as long as pawssibill or it mite diss-appeeer to THE mew place!

It’s so cute that you jumped on the tree to stop your pawrents from taking it! I’m guessing they will keep the mat for you until you actually move to the new house 🙂
I am quite sure you’ll like your new place Wally, all your stuff will be there waiting!
I bet you will be happy to see that cat tree again, Wally!
It’ll all be over before you know it, Wally.
You’d better hold everything down that you don’t want disappearing!
Wow, that would stress us out to see our things leaving…hope you get to find them all back, later…safe and sound!
Best wishes on your move:)
Don’t worry, you and the mat will get moved to the new house 🙂
Nice to see you, Wally! Our big tree went back in the box. Shouldn’t they be up all year! We hope the final move goes smooth.
Your cat tree has moved without you??? We think that is an outrage! Have your folks lost their tiny minds or what?
that is super convenient that the new home is only 5 minutes away and it is great that you can move leisurely. Just think of the fun you will have this Spring!
How exciting! You’re right, though, don’t let that boogie mat out of your sight! – Tom x
Wally, you are too funny. You really let them have it about your tree. Hopefully, you’ll be reunited soon.
That’s really cool that your new house is not so far away, Wally. We’re glad your cat tree will be waiting for you there!
Mum says she has never been able to slow move. She would like that. Get all the painting, new carpets all done before she moves. She usually moves lots of stuff herself, if she can. What she doesn’t get done the movers do.
Whoa! I wouldn’t mess with you with that expression. How did they get you off the cat tree? Nicky and Autumn said the peeps moved the same way. they moved a few blocks away in the condo and carried a lot of stuff they didn’t trust the movers with.
I believe that the cat tree also misses you much, Wally!
Must be a little bit confusing seeing all your stuff flying out the door! No wonder you’re “holding down the fort (mat)” so it doesn’t go too. I bet once you are really in the new house you’re gonna just LOVE it though!!
Hugs, Teddy
I am glad the move is going well and doesn’t have to be rushed. I hope your boogie mat doesn’t go to the new house until you do.
I hope the transition goes smoothly
How brave of you, Wally, trying to save your cat tree! Soon you will be reunited with it.
They would never dream of taking you off that mat, Wally. You sure have the cutes down.
The slow-move is exactly the right way to do it!
Taking it slow sounds like the perfect way to move! Sorry that your cat tree is gone, but you’ll be reunited soon!
Oh no, no cat tree!
What were they thinking?
Have a great Sunday…
Noodle and crew
can’t wait to see the new place!
You know…when you do move, your cat tree will be just like an BRAND SPANKING NEW tree!
Mom says Moving slow is the only way to go.

What!? They took your cat tree?! Why couldn’t they leave that till last?
We hope you won’t have to wait ling before you and it are reunited and you can get on with purrsonalising your New Home and marking it Your Own Territory.
Meanwhile – hang on to that Mat (mol).
Sorry for the typo. We meant “wait long”, not “wait ling” (mol).
Don’t worry, Wally, that tree will be waiting for you in your new place!
Good luck with the move! Can’t wait to see photos of you in your new home:)
Oh Wally, we sure hope everythin’ goes smoothly fur ya’ll. We hope ya’ like the new place and have lopts of fun. Big hugs
Luv ya’

Aww, poor kitties! But it’ll be okay. The new place will already smell like you from all the stuff that’s been there for awhile now!
I hope you like your new home, Wally. We did the same thing. We moved slowly and let the movers take the big stuff because our new home was about twenty minutes away.

Tee hee hee. That was smart of you Wally, ’cause for all you knew they might’ve been planning to pitch that tree in the dumpster! Mom sometimes has an itching to move my tree from one end of the house to the other and I make a point of jumping on my tree when she does that to add some more weight to it! I figure she needs the exercise! Winks.
