Jeez…what’s a cat gotta do to get some privacy around here?
Island Cat mom here. Am I the only one that’s fascinated with cats taking baths? Is it because of the way they can contort themselves into the strangest positions with such ease? Or the fact that they’re so meticulous…with their tongues working at lightning speed sometimes? I don’t know what it is. But I find it quite entertaining…and I can’t resist taking photos though I’m sure Wally would like me to find another hobby.

Wally, you are a fit, lithe mancat! It showed in that video of you trotting to the catmint the other day that your mom posted on FaceBook. And your ginger furs in the sun…my goodness, you are a lady cat magnet!

I’m with the mom on this one! I love it when cats groom and always snap a pic or two if I have my phone handy. Which I always do!
i don’t let the boyz watch me shower so I try to give them a little privacy when they are bathing 🙂

Wally, just snap some pics of your Mom taking a bath, I’m sure she won’t mind. 😉 I do have to admit though, cats taking a bath are fascinating to me.
Wally, the lady with the yellow hair is crackers! Why can’t she leave you alone during your toilette? I try NOT to take photos when the cats are being private, but Chili Bruce has the adorable way of putting his front paws on the rim of the litter box, that I often snap photos of that! Then again, cats are cats and they have no shame or embarrassment.
And by the way, our corporate hacker blocker says that they must block ‘q.drenig.com/iq’ every time I visit your blog. FYI.
We don’t know what that is. Though we have heard that companies’ systems are more sensitive and block things that usually aren’t a problem.
Nope – you’re not the only cat bathaholic around here……I love watching Teddy do his “daily maintenance” too. They seem to enjoy it so much too…….!!

What is it with you moms? You never leave us alone especially when we’re baffing? Wally our mom is infected with the same disease. Find a cure, quick!

Island Cat mom, you are not alone! I’m very fascinated with kitties taking bath, too, and I believe many others are as well. There is something very soothing about it 🙂
Wally after 16 years of watching me spit clean and polish my furs mom is also still fascinated by they process…especially after I’ve had a nice meal of stinky goodness.

I was always fascinated watching my cats bathe. They are able to twist and turn to get everywhere and they are SO QUIET! Bentley can wake the dead with his cleaning. LOL!
I’m lucky – my human doesn’t take a lot of photos of me bathing. She DOES like taking photos of Binga cleaning her claws, but they rarely come out.

I can’t blame your Mom, Wally … such handsomeness, those pink paw pads and nose … I’d do the same thing in taking a ton of pictures!
I love watching my cat washes his self, too 🙂 I even film a slow motion clip of him and watch it several times a day :p
