¡Hoy es el Cinco de Mayo!

Feliz Cindo de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo…or the 5th of May…commemorates the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867). It’s a holiday not celebrated much in Mexico though…but here in the U.S., it’s become a day to celebrate Mexican culture and heritage. And you know us cats just love a good party! So grab your sombreros, have a meowgarita and come party with us!

    I think it is funny that it is a bigger holiday in the United States. That would be like Mexicans having a huge celebration on Washington’s birthday.
