Oh no.
When this thing comes out of the closet,
it means only one thing.
The mom is going someplace and leaving me!
Yep, the mom is deserting us and heading off to the annual BlogPaws conference. This year it’s in Myrtle Beach, SC. She normally would be leaving today, but because of my recent health issues, she’s decided not leave until Friday so she’ll be away for a shorter time. Good! That gives me a couple of extra days to figure out how to stowaway in here.
We won’t be left alone…the dad-guy will be here though he’ll be working lots…and the mom is having someone come in to make sure I get my medicines. And here I thought I would get a few days off from the pills! RATS!!
So tell me…anybuddy got any ideas I how I can hide in here?

Listen, you gotta get that “zip” open and then you’ve got to crawl in. Once you do you’ve got the comfiest tent you could imagine. That case is filled with a tonne of soft clothes – it’s perfect for napping.

Wally I’m sure you’d steal the show if you went to Blogpaws BUT I think it’s impawtant for you to stay home and rest and TAKE YOUR MEDICINE…….besides, I’m sure your Mom will be bringing back all kinds of great swag from the conference so you have THAT to look forward to!

I can’t believe you won’t fit, Wally.
Well, it depends on how your mama is travelling, but frankly, I am HAPPY to stay at home when my mama leaves next week and I won’t be on that wowoo-ship that makes noise and I won’t throw up and I won’t have to ride in cars, so think about that, Wally. Maybe home is a better place to relax, kick back with the dad-guy, and recoup!
Sit on it and she’ll have to let you in!

Looks like room enough to me, as well. But I don’t think you would have fun on the trip. There is no place like home.
Wally, I wish I was going so bad! But it’s too long and too expensive of a trip for us here in Los Angeles.

I would love to go and see your mom but I can never seem to make it there. Last year it was where my mother lives and this year it is where I used to live and where Chris was adopted from. Ask your mom to look up Sav-r-cats and say hi for Chris.

Wally, think of all the swag your mom will bring back and she’ll need lots of space in her bag for it all. Sorry that you still have to take your pills but we want you healthy! We hope your mom has safe and smooth travels.

Your mom is very caring to make sure everything is covered during her absence. You can’t take a break from pills, haha, but it’s a good thing 🙂 We wish her a safe and fun trip!
