Hi everybuddy! I had some excitement the other day. Lemme tell you what happened.
It was a day just like any other day. I was sitting here on the bed looking out the window watching the world go by like I do most every day.
When all of a sudden, this big fat squirrel…this very one…jumped right on the window. Right on it! Right in front of my face! And he stayed there…looking in at me.
The lady with the yellow hair saw him, too. She couldn’t believe it and ran to get the camera. But when she got back the squirrel had jumped down. So there’s no actual photographic evidence of it…only these pictures of him afterwards. Sorry ’bout the quality…the lady with the yellow hair took them through the window.
We waited to see if he would come back but he ran off.
I don’t know what that squirrel was trying to do. But it was a pretty exciting time for me! I hope he comes back and does it again. Do you think he will?

Oh, what a surprise that must have been, Zoey! You know, our neighbor cat does the exact same thing. He just hops right up there on the window, hangs onto the screen, and stares you right in the face.
We think he was admiring your beauty!

I am really happy for you that the window was closed. That could have been a disaster getting him out of the house but that was sure exciting. Were you scared?

I think he was TEASING you Zoey……that little devil! He knew you couldn’t get him so he popped up on the screen to give you a tease. OR maybe he’s got a crush on the pretty kitty with the green eyes and just wanted to show off his tummy??????

Zoey, that’s the best! We checked back on our blog to see if anything like that had ever happened to us but it never has (well, except for bugs). You are so lucky to have a visitor on the actual window. Clearly he came to see you!

Miss lovely Zoey, I think he’ll come back. I remember when a squirrel landed on our balcony and we were three flights up! That was the best day ever. I’m happy for you that you got to see him so close up!
