Hey guys. Ernie here. Y’know…us cats don’t ask for much. Just a full food dish, a comfy place to nap, some fun toys to play with, and a clean litter box in which to do our business. The mom takes pretty good care of us on all those fronts though she says cleaning the ol’ litter box is not always the most enjoyable job. I can’t imagine why she would say that.
When it comes to cat litter, we have a few requirements…it has to control the odor, it has to clump well, and it has to be dust-free. Recently we had the opportunity to try out a different litter, World’s Best Cat Litter™. This premium cat litter not only met all of our requirements…it went even further to meet our litter box needs.
World’s Best Cat Litter™ has concentrated power so you actually use and waste less litter. See this bag that I’m sitting next to? This small 7 lb. bag can last one cat up to 30 days. Which means in the long run, you’ll spend less on litter.
World’s Best Cat Litter™ offers 6 different formulas: Clumping, Multi-Cat Clumping, Lavender-Scented Clumping, Forest-Scented Clumping, Advanced Natural and Advance Natural Pine Scent. We used the Multi-Cat Clumping formula.
Our Experience
So what did we think of World’s Best Cat Litter™? First of all, when switching to a new litter, it’s recommended that you transition slowly by adding the new litter to old litter over time. The mom switched one of our boxes to World’s Best Cat Litter™.
The first thing we noticed is that World’s Best Cat Litter™ smelled a little different. It smelled like corn! That’s because it’s made from naturally absorbent corn which makes it practically dust-free and pet, people and planet friendly. What’s not to like about a litter that’s good for the environment? In fact, World’s Best Cat Litter™ is a flushable cat litter…yep, you can flush it right down the toilet…its septic safe.
Now, while there’s no photographic evidence of us actually using the World’s Best Cat Litter™…us cats like our privacy, y’know…I purrsonally can say that I like it. I was the first cat to “christen” the box with the World’s Best Cat Litter™. It was easy to dig around in…it clumped well…and it didn’t stick to my paws like some other litters do.
What did the mom like about World’s Best Cat Litter? She liked that it was dust-free. There was no coating of dust all over everything…including us! The mom also liked that it was lightweight…no more lugging heavy bags of litter for her! She’s gonna need to find another way to get her exercise.
It controlled odors well. There’s nothing worse than a smelly litter box but with World’s Best Cat Litter™, that wasn’t an issue. There was no stinky odor.
She also liked that it clumped really well. That’s because World’s Best Cat Litter™ uses a patented process to compress corn into concentrated granules that trap odors deep inside and form tight clumps on contact. The clump held together and didn’t fall apart so it made scooping and cleaning much easier. And the less time the mom has to spend on the litter box is more time she can spend with us.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
I’ve been meaning to try this brand. It’s nice that the bag is so light and you can flush the waste instead of having to lug it back out (we use a special container for litter box waste) … and it cuts down on odors.
This review has got our mom to thinking she may try this. She is so tired of the dust from the litter we use now coating everything. Great review, Ernie!
Good job Ernie with that review. Sounds like the perfect litter. We appreciate all those facts. Have a great day.
I have to tell you that Cat’s Best lightweight, non odor, clumping, and FLUSHABLE in all johns is the world’s best for me. Mama can’t live without it and when we travel, she takes a ziplock bag (large) for my potty in hotels and things (plastic bowl first). You waste hardly any of this litter because it clumps so well. But flushable is really amazing…..I think it may be only available in Europe but I can’t believe that in the US there is not a flushable, clumping litter.
Aw man, I was hoping for an action shot, Ernie!
LOL!
As much as this looks and sounds like a fantastic product, we’ve tried switching Angel and Chuck to new litters before, and each time has turned out disastrously. The Hubby says NO MORE…but, I’m not listening to him. Maybe some day, and I appreciate the product review!
Oh, and yes, I’ll take the Natural Balance kibble, thank you very much! We’ll work out a way to hand it off via visit or something…the ‘O’ Cats will love it!
I’ve seen great reviews about this litter and I would like to give it a try but this brand doesn’t sell in my country.
LOVED your review! Ours goes up Friday and isn’t nearly as good as yours! We have been using World’s Best for years! It’s the only litter we use!!
Thank you for a very nice post, Ernie. That review was very helpful. Have to try this litter. Thanks for sharing:)
This is a really compelling review, guys. I almost bought this litter last weekend at PetSmart but the price put me off. I didn’t realize all these great features including that it’s supposed to last longer. Also, no dust and litter not sticking to paws are two important factors to us as well.
Great review! Sounds like World’s Best Cat Litter works well for you, and when we tried it, our Mom loved not seeing fine white powder going everywhere!
Hey Ernie, Thanks for the great and thorough review. We have a corn litter, and C.J. is the only one who will use it. Mom wishes the rest of us would get on board with it. We just like clay…period! Our mom would like to know if your mom flushed it. Ours is afraid to, even though it says “flushable.” XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
We love World’s Best Cat Litter – my human has been buying it since 2003! I bet my grandparents aren’t even that old.
Great endorsement Ernie….I’m quite peculiar about my litter and the texture…but it is good to know you gave it a try. Maybe I would like it too
Hugs madi your bfff
Thanks for the scoop! That was a really good review!
We might give this a try – I like that it is dust and odor free! We have tried other more natural litters and Rosie hasn’t approved. Hopefully, this one might meet her standards.
Sounds like a great litter.
Ernie you did a fantastic review!
Great review Ernie. You sold us on no dust. Mom hates the dust.
Berry kewl litter Ernie!! Wee will look fur it inn our low-cal store!!!
~~head rubss~~Siddhartha Henry~~
That’s definitely a litter we’d be interested in trying!
Well if it’s good enough for Ernie it is good enough for Amarula! I will look into it! thanks
Another good review.
World’s Best Cat Litter is pawsome! My kitties love it too. It is really nice to not have the huge poof of dust every time litter is put in the litter box. I’m glad to see that it is working out well for you too. Great clump photo!
Great review, Ernie! We got to try it out, too, and agree with you on all fronts.
The advancements in cat litter since I had my trio has grown by leaps and bounds. I remember a cloud of dust when I used to pour mine in the early 80’s. This one sound terrific!
Pawsome review and litter.
Well done, Ernie! Awesome review.
We use World’s Best Cat Litter, and we agree with you … it’s great!
Good job Ernie! We’re big fans of WBCL and one of their original CatAdvocates years ago.
This review is purrfect, Ernie! We have actually been using World’s Best Cat Litter (this exact multicat version, in fact) for years, and both the kitties and humans around here love it. It does so great at reducing odor, and the dust-free part is pretty pawesome. Thank you for reviewing this great litter, Ernie!
Very cool. Great review!
I know my number one concern is the dust from traditional litters. It’s bad for me standing over five feet off the ground, imagine how my poor baby must feel having her nose right down in it!
The best litter products, I’ve found, are never clay litters. They’re just too dusty and stick to paws (which means they could get eaten!). I’ve never tried a corn based litter, but I’ve been curious too. We’ll have to check this stuff out!
We use World’s Best Cat Litter and love it!
i see they sell it at the store i buy the boyz’s food from. we’ll have to give it a try.
Cool. Glad ya’ll liked it. Mommy’s always got her eyes out fur flushin’ clumpin’ natural pawdee box filler. We always seem to go back to our old standby, but dat doesn’t mean ifin we found da right one at da right purrice we wouldn’t make da switch. Fur some reason, this is one we’ve never tried. MOL Big hugs and by da way. You be lookin’ very handsum. We just luvved your extra toes shot.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
I’m not 100% happy with the litter we’re using now, but I just didn’t know what else to try. I like all natural things. This sounds really promising. We don’t want to put Sam off now that she’s using her litter, but since we have two boxes I think we could slowly switch one box over to this and see how she does. Great review, Ernie!
We should maybe try this kind of litter, too…we track ours all around even with litter trapping mats.
