¡Hola amigos y amigas!
¡Hoy es el Cinco de Mayo!
Cinco de Mayo…or the fifth of May…commemorates the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867). It’s a holiday not celebrated much in Mexico though…but here in the U.S. of A., it’s become a day to celebrate Mexican culture and heritage. And you know us cats just love a good party! So grab your sombreros, have a meowgarita and come party with us!
