These pictures were taken about once an hour starting around 12 noon, all on the same afternoon. Apologies for the darkness of the last ones. ย The afternoon light was fading, and no flash was used in order to not disturb the napping mancats.

The nap continued for about another hour or so…until the sound of a can of stinky goodness being opened woke the mancats from their deep slumber. ย Mancats are known to never miss a meal. ย

Happiness is a sleeping cat! How about 2 sleeping cats? Double the happiness. I don’t usually sleep this long boys but after a trip or quest have been known to wile away the hours having a long nappy.

You two are so cute together! We haven’t napped together since Newton was a kitten and kind of forced the issue. Seeing other kitties doing that always makes us happy, though.
