Hi everybuddy.  I’m getting my post-Christmas easy on today.  I gotta rest up for more celebrating we’ll be doing this coming week.

Y’know what?  We watched some real exciting Bird TV the other day.  This guy showed up.

Meet Mr. Hawk!  You probably can’t tell from this picture, but he was HUGE!  He’s definitely not some bird to be messed with…and another reason it’s a good thing we’re inside cats!  We wouldn’t wanna get carried off by him.  Yikes!

Hey…make sure you drop by tomorrow.  It’s a special day for us!

  11. Oh Ernie, you do look so handsome in that picture. Sure glad you didn’t mess with that big hawk, they will carry other things away. Thanks so much for all your purrs and prayers for Joe. You take care.

  12. Do not piss off that hawk…

  13. That kind of Bird TV definitely makes for good watching, as long as it isn’t too “interactive.” We’ll stop by again tomorrow to find out what the big news is. 🙂

    Hugs!

  14. Yikes Ernie!
We saw one of those in our tree too,but did not get a pic.
Yup, we are glad to be indoor kitties too 🙂
    Enjoy your rest 🙂

  15. that is some impressive bird..

  16. That is a big hawk. We get them here also and they catch the smaller birds. Once one caught a seagull and we could see it at the top of the electric pylon and the seagull was flapping it’s wings trying to escape. It must have hit the wires with it’s wings and Mr Hawk was sitting on the metal framework because next day when we went for a walk, they were both dead in the grass below.

  17. It looks like you have some exciting bird TV to watch! We will definitely come visit tomorrow; we can’t wait to see what your special day is!

  18. That is a really big bird. Glad you could watch him from inside.

  19. We are VERY glad you are indoor kitties! Mom has those out at her place and she has to keep Jessie James the Poodle in when they are hunting. They are very beautiful and very scary! Hope you all have a good Easy.

  20. He came to visit with his friend the house panther!

  21. We have Mr. Eagle and Mr. Owl here. Former Fred the Farm cat got picked up by Mr. Eagle and went for a ride! It was only because Fred was a little erm, plump that he was dropped.

  22. Those hawks are really impressive! Some of them live around here, but I have yet to see them. My human hears them sometimes.

  23. Ernie mom still (and always will) covet that gorgeous window seat.
    Hugs madi your bfff

  24. WOW! Ernie, that Bird TV looks dangerous!! We’ve get buzzards all the time, but I think that is bigger by far!!! Can’t wait until tomorrow ???

  25. Wow, Mr. Hawk! That must have been pretty exciting episode on your bird TV!
    But I agree…we don’t wanna mess with him 🙂

  26. We will be sure to stop by tomorrow.

  27. That is a beautiful bird. You must love the bird tv where you live. We see very few hawks around here but we do see lots of osprey along with large birds like pelicans and egrets.

  28. Dem hawks is serious bizness – dere’s been pupses carried off by em in our neighborhood.

  29. We have a generational family of Hawks and they ARE huge. I can easily see how if they wanted to they could carry off a roaming kitty.

  30. Eeeek! That hawk looks like a biggy……we see them in our woods – gray hawks, red-tailed hawks – doesn’t matter to me what kind they are – they’re BIG and they could get me if they want to! Better to watch them from INSIDE…..

    Hugs, Sammy

  31. That’s so impressive to look at him…behind glass of course. I have to watch more bird tv to see if they’re around us too. Pawkisses for a Good Night 🙂 <3

  32. Wow, that’s an impressive bird ! We have his smaller cousin here (we don’t know the exact name of that kind of hawk in English). Purrs

  33. Yeah, that looks like one of the kinds of hawks that shows up here too.

Thanks for your purrs for Derby.

    Just Ducky and Mum.

  34. Hi Ernie! Our Mumsy is all into Bur-ding. She bates the feeders, counts how many of what kind is out there…she gets all excited when one of those Hawk birds comes around. Hey, we agree with you. It’s all just great Bird TV to us. And, all the more reason, yup, to be happy to be indoor kitties 🙂
    Hugs!
We hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas.

  35. Oh yes, it’s VERY important to rest up well for the New Year. Gotta get the easy on now so that we can get nipped on New Year’s Eve.
