Hey everybuddy. I’m getting my easy on today. After the terrible day I had yesterday, I deserve it. Y’see…the mom dragged me to the evil v-e-t because I haven’t been eating much lately. In fact, yesterday morning, I turned my nose up to my breakfast which isn’t something I normally do.
At the v-e-t, I got poked and prodded and all sorts of other intrusive stuff that I don’t even wanna think about anymore. But I checked out okay…so the v-e-t thinks I might have an upset stomach.
I don’t know what the big deal is. Doesn’t the mom understand that I’m just holding out for a nice juicy tuna steak? Sheesh.
(FYI…I’ve eaten some since yesterday…so maybe my stomach is starting to feel better.)

Oh Ernie, we sure hope those fluids help you feel better soon. It is so scary when our kitty friiends stop eating. Several of us around here have quit eating lately but we have started back up now. We sure send lots of purrs to you Ernie. So just start eating. Take care.

Hi Ernie! I am glad to hear you had some food yesterday–maybe she’ll break out that tuna steak or some chick-hens if you wait her out. But you know what, don’t. She’s a nice Human and you don’t want her all upset. Besides, who knows? She could drag you off you-know-where again if you keep ignoring your noms, and nobody wants that!

When me haz grumbly tummy or bowelz me getz Pepcid or Zantac butt Pepcid werkz bettur fer me. In xtreme casez me getz da dreeded Cerenia stingin needle which calmz fingz down purrfect. Fer appytite isshuez me alwayz getz Mirtazipine n dat helpz wif me appytite ALOT!

My Mom freaks out if I don’t eat WHEN and WHAT she expects me too also Ernie – what’s with that? I have to eat what SHE gives me while she gets to pick what SHE eats…..sometimes what she picks for me doesn’t “grab” me! So I don’t eat. Big deal….but I’m glad she took you to the vet guy just to make sure. Hope you’re AOK now.

My stomach gets upset sometimes, which is why I get a quarter tab of Pepcid every day. That has helped a lot! I hope you feel MUCH better soon, Ernie!
We’re so relieved you’re eating better today, Ernie. If it’s any comfort, Mommy drags US to the vet if we slow down in our eating too. Tutu was the last “victim” of this silliness and the vet said she just had a mild sore throat!

Hey Ernie, you have our deepest sympathy over the vet visit. Our mama drags us there with the least little problem. Worst part is she knows the vets and a couple of vet techs personally so they talk about other stuff while we is suffering on the cold, hard exam table. Be sure to eat Ernie so you don’t have to make a return torture visit.
