Easy E Sunday Posted by Ernie Jan 192014 This was me last night. I was hanging out with the dad-guy…watching him watch that talking picture box. Y’know…that thing the humans call TV? I found it fascinating that the dad-guy was watching it with his eyes closed. Now how’d he do that? The peeps here do that sometimes, too. It’s usually more interesting to watch them than the box with the pictures moving on it. The box never feeds us. Madi and mom says: January 19, 2014 at 9:49 AM Mol Ernie that is so funny..i bet if your mom turned off the box the dad would wake up instantly. Between your dad and you, Ernie, there are a LOT of toesies in that picture! Me, You and Zu says: January 19, 2014 at 10:01 AM It must take a lot of practice to master that talent because our humans do it a lot! ~Me, You and Zu Dma says: January 19, 2014 at 10:16 AM It’s very important to rest your eyes… Nerissa's Life says: January 19, 2014 at 10:36 AM He must have been “restin’ his eyes.” I’ve heard peeps say that before. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense but they say it anyway. Purrs, Nissy Katie Isabella says: January 19, 2014 at 10:38 AM Gosh, I have noticed that phenom here too! What’s up with dat? Georgia and Julie says: January 19, 2014 at 11:14 AM We notice that phenomenon too 😉 Maybe that is why our beans can “see” what we are doing when they do not appear to be looking at us :/ Purrs Georgia and Julie, Treasure,JJ and Angels Tiger and Tillie Sammy says: January 19, 2014 at 11:36 AM Ernie I’m glad my Dad’s not the only one who apparently can see that TV box thing with his eyes closed…..don’t ask me how they do it but somehow they do. Humans are SO confusing! Hugs, Sammy The Swiss Cats says: January 19, 2014 at 12:06 PM Fascinating ! We love that picture of you watching your Dad-guy! Carlos the Cat says: January 19, 2014 at 1:23 PM I do that often too! My staff usually keep their eyes open while the noisy box is open, so I don’t really know the answer to that! But very intriguing question! Moggiepurrs says: January 19, 2014 at 1:50 PM You are a cat with such deep thoughts!! Kitties Blue says: January 19, 2014 at 1:59 PM Hey Ernie, That’s exactly how our dad watches TV. They must have special powers that allows them to see through their eyelids! You look so adorable in this photo, some of us girl-cats think we might just have a crush on you. Derby and Ducky says: January 19, 2014 at 7:05 PM Mum does that too sometimes and reads books that way too. What is it with humans? prancer pie says: January 19, 2014 at 7:30 PM Our Mommy calls it “checking her eyelids for pinholes”. HahaMeow! Karen Jo says: January 19, 2014 at 8:35 PM Our Mom does that, too. I lie on her just like you are doing, Ernie, ’cause she watches TV lying on the bed or sometimes in the bed. It must be a special talent beans have. Rocio Katnip Lounge says: January 19, 2014 at 9:04 PM MOL! We think EVERY peep must do that. Pretty often, if Mommy is any sort of benchmark. Maggie Mae and Max says: January 19, 2014 at 9:19 PM Ernie, Dats how our dad watches da teevees too, in fact him is doin’ it right now. 🙂 Woofs and Licks, Maggie Mae and Max Cathy Keisha says: January 19, 2014 at 9:30 PM That’s the best way to watch tv. KatzTales says: January 20, 2014 at 12:27 AM We’ve always wanted to know that too. If you find out, share! Shoko & Kali says: January 20, 2014 at 4:39 AM Hoomins can be very odd! They see as much as we do with our eyes closed. I guess if they sit in front of the TV and sleep, the rays from the TV give them good dreams, Bev Green says: January 20, 2014 at 7:10 AM Yep Ernie..the fozziedad does this…but he is never asleep so he says…and you look just like the way Panfur Cleo lies on my legs…but i’m awake 🙂 hugs Fozziemum xx Cattywumpus says: January 20, 2014 at 12:25 PM Yep, our dad does the same trick. Connie says: January 20, 2014 at 4:21 PM LOVE the eyes.. 😉 and Dads are multi-talented.. Judy & C.A.T.S says: January 20, 2014 at 7:04 PM Does your Dad make those funny snoring noises? Our Dad closes his eyes and then makes those funny noises. He keeps telling Mom “I’m awake.” Dad’s must be able to see through their eyelids. What a great trick.
