Oh noes!! Mom usually keeps ours up until the Epiphany but we have visitors coming and will be taking it down early this year. We hate to see the holidays end.

Yep – I hear you guys and feel your pain…..I’m already missing ours. It got put away yesterday and the library is suddenly HUGE and EMPTY and SAD….Knowing the tree will return next year helps a little but not much! I had some GREAT naps under that thing……sniff…..

Mommy says the day the Christmas decorations come down is the saddest day of the year. She would leave them up all year long, but Dad says they would no longer be special if she did that. She really likes all the extra light they provide ’cause she needs the S-U-N and light or she is so bummed out. That first pic with the snowman in front of Wally’s face is too, too cute. Aww, sad to see the tree go. Our is up and so far is still up, which is a miracle.

Hey, Island Cats! Sophie says to tell you that we didn’t even put UP a Christmas Tree this year! At least you got the fun of playing with yours for a while. Happy New Year to you from Bev and Sophie at Moggiepurrs.
It is so sad when the Christmas tree comes down. We don’t understand why the Christmas tree doesn’t get left up all year. It provides kitty’s with warmth from the lights, good skritchy branches and fun things to whap. It should be left up. Our pawrents have not taken the tree down yet because they are too lazy and it is so much work. We know it will be coming down soon. I only have mine for a few more days so I am making the most of it while I still can.

We miss our tree, too. We lose our tree on December 26 every year, even though we are nowhere near through with it. The house feels a little empty without it, and we have to find other places to make mischief. We know it’s not the same, but want to go knock over a potted plant or something instead?
Too bad we can’t have indoor trees all year long. It is sad to see them go and have to wait a whole year before they get back.
We are sad to see our tree go too. Very few things get hung low and none of them will break. Of course, we just stretch and reach up, and Oui Oui has purrfected knocking ornaments out of the tree.
That’s a good fake. It looks real. TW won’t feel sad when she takes our down since she’s allergic to it.
Mum puts ours in a box until next year!

Ours got put away right after Christmas this year…but it also went up in November.
Maybe the humans could put up trees for other celebrations during the year…or just leave it up and redecorate as the occasion demands. 🙂

Oh my goodness I just checked all the pictures of your beautiful cats and this one about the christmas tree…cute. I had to put mine out on the front porch this year because of the two new rugrats I have running around. I knew if I had put my tree up in the house, by morning it would have been down…lol.
