zoey-looking

Hi everybuddy.  I’m checking to make sure they’re all gone now.  Who you ask?  All those little trick-or-treaters that came to our house last night.  They banged on the door and rang the door bell and made all sorts of noise!

I was smart…I stayed in my room the whole time, but I still could hear them out there yelling and laughing.  The lady with the yellow hair said there weren’t as many of them this year because it was windy and rainy…but if you ask me, even one is too many!

Well, I don’t see any.  The coast is clear!  And thank cod that nonsense is over for another year!

  1. i hope you got some treats for putting up with all the tricks last night.

  2. We hope that you have a peaceful day today Zoey.

  3. Quiet and no strangers is much better pretty Zoey!

  4. That looks like a very comfy spot for sniffing out the little critters Zoey, Glad you are on sentry duty.

  5. Our Mom says we had more trick-or-treaters last night than any year at our house, and they have lived in it for 30 years. Some people bring them here in cars, which she doesn’t understand. Only about a quarter of the houses on our street give out treats, our street is on a hill and we all have steps. It was pretty warm here last night, so the humans sat on the porch to give out treats, sparing us that nasty doorbell ringing. 6. We hope you have a more peaceful day today Zoey – it’s bonfire night on the 5th here when everyone goes mad with fireworks so we’ll be hiding or sitting on Mum so she doesn’t get frightened – we aren’t scared of course!

  7. We never get any trick o treaters because we live far off the road and our driveway is very dark. Plus there are NO children living in any of the homes nearby. So…no ding dongs!!! We are glad it’s over for you Zoey.

  8. mom doesn’t leave the light on (we don’t have many kids in our neighborhood anyhow). but we are glad we don’t have to deal with it!

  9. I thought exactly the same, Zoey, although we didn’t get many this year.

  10. It’s safe? We don’t like Halloween!

  11. We didn’t have any at our place! The humans suppose it’s because the driveway is very very steep. I see we were rather lucky then!
Now the humans complain they’re gonna have to eat all that candy… like they’re not happy about that!
Have a great, peaceful Friady, Zoey!

  12. We were very lucky and didn’t have any of those little munchkins. Glad it is over for you though Zoey. Take care.

  13. Hiding is good, that is what we do too! We had lots and lots of little one and quite a few bigger ones – 60 of them in fact. No, there were not all from our community! It was a lovely warm night, so that made a big difference. Ran out of snacks for them.

Today we have the weather you had yesterday, it is very rainy, windy and some have their power out, but not us, thankfully.

  18. I know the feeling. We only had one group of trick-or-treaters come to the door this year. I don’t like people knocking loudly and shouting at my front door. Glad that’s over. Now we have to put up with firework displays for the next few nights because of Guy Fawkes Night.

  19. Mommy was sure I had been here to speak to you Zoey.

  34. Whew, we’re glad it’s over too. Now we can all get back to quiet naps and snuggling cuz it’s raining here too.

  36. We absolutely agree with you! In fact, our human stopped giving candy out years ago, sour middle-aged woman that she is. Hahaha.

We hope you all have a great weekend–a quiet weekend.

Thanks for stopping by; we hope all goes well too!

  37. We only had one group come, and of course they saw me and said, “oh, he’s so cute!” and then when they saw how big I am, they said, “Oh, he won’t come out here, will he?”

  38. I guess that’s one nice thing about living in an apartment….no kids banging on our door here…

Now you has Thanksgiving to look forward to, Zoey! 🙂

  39. Glad those noisy little trick-or-treaters are gone for this year. You have a year off now, Zoey.

  40. Is the coast clear?

  41. Yes, our boys were relieved as well when the visitors to the door were gone!

  42. Maybe you could go trick or treating next year for some cat treats 😉

  43. So glad it’s quiet for all us kitties (and other furries) again. And it’s great your weather is still nice enough you can have the window open a bit. It’s cooling off here but I still get a little window time in the afternoons.

  44. Yup, except TW had to yell at those hooligans down the hall again yesterday although I did go to the door to go out. It wouldn’t open.

  45. We’re with you Zoey!

  46. I hope you didn’t get locked up in a room with that Orange Menace Wally. Oh there he was on Facebook today looking all INNOCENT and stuff, but I know better, Zoey Darling.
