Tomorrow night is Halloween.
So I’m practicing my
“handing out candyΒ to the trick-or-treaters” skills.
I’ve got “opening the door” almost mastered!

This is gonna be fun!

  1. Good boy. Another inch and the handle is yours!
Are you giving out nip tomorrow night?

  2. That is surely one of the better stand-up pictures we ever seen!

  3. Why not ask Ernie if he’ll give you a helping paw to get the door open.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

  4. your on the wrong side… you should learn to ring doorbells and ask for treats.

  5. Be careful not to step outside…you’re much safer in the house!

  6. Oh Wow Wallie, you make such a good trick or treat greeter. Good for you. How much candy are you going to eat?? Happy Halloween kind of early. Take care.

  7. You’ve almost got it, Wally! We bet you’ll see lots of funny costumes tomorrow. Just be sure and stay inside where it’s safe, ok?

  8. Looks like you really ARE gonna be able to be the “trick or treat” hand-out guy this year Wally…..you’ll REALLY surprise all the little kiddies who come to your door!!

    Kitty Hugs, Sammy

  9. How very clever of you, wally. The woman here wishes we could learn to open the door, then she wouldn’t have to do it for us at 3am.

  10. We are kinda hoping that when the door bell rings, you’ll run towards the door at full speed and jump right up to cling onto the netting. We bet the kids would LOVE that!

  11. We think the trick-or-treaters should bring treats to you, Wally.

  12. Wally
I hope the ghouls and gobblins are all friendly
    Hugs Madi your boofriend

  13. Do you supervise the treat hand-outs? You are a very brave cat!

We don’t have trick-or-treaters in the apartment complex. A few may come to the home of friends or family, though. I watch for any of them at the patio door πŸ™‚

  14. keep stretching Wally!! (though why you want to go out there with kids is beyond us)

  15. Wally, don’t scare the kids too badly now. xoxox

  16. Be careful Wally and don’t let the Spooks get you!

  17. LOL, Wally. Does look like you’ve mastered “opening the door!” That is very cute Halloween mat out there. We hope you’ll get lots of treats tomorrow πŸ™‚

  18. Wow, I’m impressed! I want to learn to do that too!

  19. What a great trick, be careful of those horrible creatures tomorrow. πŸ™‚

  20. Oh how exciting for the kids to have you hand it out!

  21. aww.. I want to come to your house

  22. That’s great, Wally! Why is it our mom envisions a house full of let-in raccoons nom-ing all the treats? MOL!

  23. We’re just digging those drum sticks of yours πŸ™‚

  24. WOW – you can really stretch right up there. Just a nice little turn of the paw and you’ll get the door open. he he – then you can come and go as you please.

  25. uh oh!!! Better watch that guy! He’s one smart kitty!

  26. hehehe cheeky Wally,xx Speedy

  27. We don’t hand out candy around here – we go dark on Halloween. My human is going to be out of town at the Cat Writers’ Conference this year, and she is hoping that her boyfriend does not break our no-Halloween tradition because she thinks it will upset us kitties!

  28. We’d go trick or treating at your house for sure! Our mommy gasped when she saw you can almost open the door Wally. She’s a worry wart!

  29. Wally, you be careful of all those little ghouls and goblins, okay?

  30. Just stopping by to say: Happy Halloween to all the Island Kitties and not furgetting the obligatory

    Have supurr spookfest

  31. Oh Wally you make a great Halloween greeter!

  32. That is a great reach Wally,
but are you sure you want to see all those
    ghosts and goblins?
    Remember,they are human treats πŸ˜‰
    Happy Halloween !

  33. Look at you, Wally! You’re amazing. Looks like you’re on tippy-toes too. Can’t wait for Halloween!

  34. You are a very clever kitty!

  35. WOW–you are GOOD! The trick or treaters will give YOU treats for doing something so grand!

  36. It looks like you have the routine down! Won’t the neighborhood kids be surprised.

  37. Very impressive Wally!

  38. Just tell those spooks to go away.

  39. Your mom and dad are very lucky to have such a good helper. The trick-or-treaters are gonna love you.

  40. Scoop was our best door opener. He’s passed away but maybe tonight is the night to get in touch for some tips? Meow from all of us, and hope you score tonnes of nip tonight

  41. Oh, man, I tried to make a breat for it last night but the door wasn’t far enough open. We can’t wait till the trick and treaters start ringing the bell. Do you know Nicky used to be scared to the bell. Once he jumped up off the table so fast, he brought the telephone down on his head?

  42. hee hee! way to go, Wally! are you going to pass out Temptations? (or rocks and eat the Temptations for yourself…just a thought…)
    Happy Howloween!

    Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie

  43. Wally, just don’t slip out the door! Its scary out there with all those goblins running around.

  44. Wally! You get away from there! You cannot be opening doors over there. That is norty and Santa won’t. . . .oh wait. What? Never mind.

  45. whoa! Wally! You totally HAVE THE REACH!!

  46. Dood! Ya gotta teach us how to do that if you ever get it figgered out!!!

  47. That’s pretty darn talented! I will probably hang back while Bennette runs to the door…although she won’t be parting with any treats.

  48. Youz real good at that Bawahwhhahhaa xxooxxx

    Mollie and Alfie

  49. You be careful Wally. Some little kid may think you’re the treat and try to stuff you in a bag. Best if you sit a safe distance from the door and just observe. (Those are mad, door skills, however.) Happy Halloween! Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Lisbeth, Astrid and Calista Jo

  50. Oh Oh I think someone is furry soon in BIG trouble πŸ™‚

  51. Oh, I thought maybe Zoey was having you lock the door to keep them out! πŸ™‚
