Most of you have heard by now that the swag bag the mom got at BlogPaws was not very kitty friendly. Yeah…too many dog treats and cleaning stuff…even puppy pee pads! Sheesh! The mom gave most of it away to someone who could use it. But she did manage to pilfer some Greenies and Natural Balance foods and treats…and even a nip toy or two…from the vendors there.
Here’s most of the stuff the mom brought home. Uh…thanks for the photobomb, Ernie. ::rolling eyes::
One of the best things we got was our very own swag bag from Curlz and Swirlz…it’s the little gift bag in the picture. That had all kitty stuff in it including homemade treats! Thanks, Miss Teri!
Okay, so the swag we got from BlogPaws is on the weak side, but we’re gonna do a little giveaway anyway. Wow, that’s some serious swag mew have there!!! I’m not so sure about the doggy treats and puppy pads though, hmmmm, but at least mew got a couple of nip toys, so it’s not all bad 😀 it’s amazing how a bit of nip can make effurything seem better 😀

Yup, I had heard that it was very dog orientated this year. I am glad your mum managed to get some treats and toys for you though. That was very nice of Teri to make up swag bags for all of you.

It’s the same way in the pet store I work for…HALF the store is designated for the dogs and only a quarter for cats! The injustice in the world! My managers have learned to put the new cat stuff out first though, or I say something to them 🙂

It’s always amazing when you here that more people own cats (and multiple cats) than dogs but dogs always seem to nose their way to the top—pfft!
I had no idea about blogpaws and it was right in my neighborhood (the DC area), but it was already sold out by the time I checked it out. I’m embarrassed to say that I actually use puppy pee pads! I put them under my litter boxes as Chunky Lisa while always standing in the litter box, sometimes (okay, lots of times), goes outside the box. So nice to offer a giveaway…thank you.

It sounds like most all of the cat bloggers were unimpressed with the swag bag… and that the BlogPaws folks need to get the manufacturers to step up their game on the cat side of things!
We think that meeting all of the other cat bloggers sounds like a lot of fun, and our head peep is hoping (fingers crossed) to make the trip next year.

The common denominator at BlogPaws seemed to be a lack of cat stuff… I’ve been reading the updates from everyone and it’s the same story each time. We had a similar type show here in Canada and it was the same thing – gearded towards dogs.
