Easy E Sunday

Bird TV has been quite entertaining lately.  Probably because the dad-guy feeds the birdie-actors peanuts and sometimes pecans and almonds along with the regular birdie food.  Those birdies sure eat good at our house.

Just look at those three fat and sassy blue jays sitting the tree!  I bet they’re waiting for more of the good food!  The mom calls them pigs with wings.  😉

It’s not unusual for there to be 6 or 8 blue jays along with some other birdies like woodpeckers putting on a show all at the same time.

Oops…channel change!  Now it’s Squirrel TV!  The squirrels like the peanuts, too.  But they have to fight off the blue jays to get them.

Okay…back to the bird channel.  Hey, Mr. Blue Jay…you lookin’ at me? You lookin’ at me??

Oh, one of these days I’m hoping we get interactive TV.  And when we do, look out there, Mr. Blue Jay!  I’m coming for you!!

  1. Oh too funny, You lookin at me, looking at ME. Great picture. You all have great TV at your house. We are coming up there. Have a super Sunday.

  2. Your TV channels are better than ours!! We don’t get many birds in our backyard, even though we have a couple of feeders. We do get a Mom and Dad cardinal and lots of lizards!!

  3. What great TV, wish it was as good here. 🙂

  4. oooh white stuff cool!

  5. Your bird TV looks pawsome. We need to remind Mom to put the birdseed out for our birds.

One thing for sure those bluejays are NOISY!
    Happy easy
    Madi your bfff

  7. Mom feeds are actors good too. Blue jays are always involved in some scandal on our channel. Wowza, that is almost interactive tv there in that last pic!

  8. Squirrel TV is one of the best channels going, and we love bird TV, too. Sometimes we get wild turkeys in closeups on our bird TV that scare certain mancats right out of the window. You’re brave that you don’t run away from the closeups!!

  9. Almonds! Pecans!! Whoa!!! Those birdies are havin’ fine dinin’ at the finest. You invitin’ Chef Ramsey over to give him a few hints and whatnot? You should. purrs

  10. Let me know if you hear of a good plan for interactive TV. We really need an upgrade here.
    ; ) Katie

  11. Those Island Birds sure do eat good! No birdies here. Once in awhile a squirrel. You still have that white stuff! Would you believe we’ve had a grand total of one inch of snow all season! Boring!!!

  12. Almond stuffed blue jay sounds delicious.

  20. Wow Ernie-you get really good tv channels-you guys is lucky!

  21. Ernie, you guys have awesome Bird TV! I hope you get that plump bluejay someday. After all, isn’t that why the dad-guy feeds them all those yummy noms?

    Your friend,

  22. You get great programmes on your Bird TV. Our dad feeds the actors for us too.

  23. Mowzers, we just LOVE BirdTV but our reception’s not as good as yours is. (Mommy sez that we might not wanna have the BlueJay interactive Channel – something about seeing them dive-bomb kittehs in Real Life. HRMPF.)

  24. We love Bird TV for sure!!
Thank you so much for your purrs for Rachel. Shes doing much better.

  25. You have the bestest channels ever! We don’t have squirrel TV at all!

  26. You are so lucky! At the 40th floor our TV viewing is less than desirable. And we thought living in highrise condo in Miami was suppose to be fun. Sometimes we miss the adventures of outdoors. We only see vultures now and then this high up. We see black squares crawling way below but they’re not bugs. Christine says they are called “cars” or automobiles”.

  27. Ernie those bluejays wouldn’t have a chance with you! Who the CAT?! You THE CAT!! 🙂

the critters in the cottage xo

  28. We don’t get many blue jays. Even if we put nuts out.

  29. Yummy! We love your window tv too! Happy New Year! Meows and Purrs from Au, Target, Guido and Ellen aka De Survunt.

  30. Sounds like these birdie actors are getting good pay!! Well, they sure are doing great entertaining you 🙂
I love the idea of interactive tv! I hope you will get one some day….or it will be nice if one of the actors comes to visit you!

  31. We got birds to watch, too, but… your view looks prettier than ours!

  32. We have more squirrel TV than bird TV around here.

  33. Excellent bird TV. Your reception is outstanding!

  34. Mmmmm, birdie treats. Yeah, interpret that phrase however you like, MOL!

(Speaking of Bird treats….did you see the little movie at Sparkle’s today???)

  35. I love your TV! Good shows!

  36. Wow you have some real snow! We posted the pic of our snow more as a joke cause there was so little.

Thanks for all your kind words while our mom wasnt feeling well. We hope you have a great new Year!

  37. Birds AND skwerrls! Hard to resist watchin!

  38. Great Channel, My friend ; )
But you know …All those food your dad feed the actors , It’s my mom food !…MOL

  39. Wow, you must get the pay channels…cause we don’t have TV that good around here. We can watch some bird TV and squirrel TV…but it’s not nearly as up close and personal.

  40. So pigs do fly!!!!

  41. Oh my gosh, that bluejay is very bold! He needs a good whapping to get him back in line, doesnt he!

  42. OMC!! You really think we will get interactive TV soon???…rubs paws together with glee!! Oh, and how did you change channels so fast? I don’t see the remote next to you on that window seat????…just curious…’cuz I keep mine right with me all the time, paw pats, Savannah
