Welcome to the Medal Ceremony for the
2012 Cat-O-Lympics Synchronized Snoozing Competition!
(pretend you’re hearing that Olympic theme song playing)
We wanna say again that there were so many excellent entries and the competition was fierce! There were over 60 competing teams and any of them coulda won a medal! We wanna thank all the competitors for pawticipating. You are all true CAT-O-Lympians!!
We also wanna thank our panel of judges…the Dad-Guy and the Walking Guys…for narrowing the field down to the 16 finalists. We know that wasn’t easy! Thanks to everybuddy that took the time to vote. There were over 220 votes cast!
Okay…okay…enough of the preliminaries! Now for the Medalists!!
The Bronze Medal goes to…
Daisy and Leo from the country of Two Goldens and a Wannabe A last minute surge in votes earned this well-deserving duo the Bronze!
The Silver Medal goes to…
Henry and Annie from the country of The Kitty Party This team started out slow in the voting but soon garnered enough votes to capture the Silver!
And now…
the Gold Medal goes to…
Eric and Flynn from the country of Our Life by Eric and Flynn A clear fan favorite, this team takes the Gold by showing great synchronized style in their pots!

You know what…mom was helping us vote and while we were all looking at the entries she saw Eric and Flynn in their pots and she lost it. Ok, she always loses it when she sees those boys in their pots. All of the entries were awesome, but we definitely have a weakness for those boys.

Everyone was great. Our mama says Eric and Flynn remind her of us on a sunny afternoon on the patio, each of us in a different pot. We are not as synchronized as the gold medalist however.
