So what’s all this talk ’bout Christmas? The guy and the lady with the yellow hair keep talking ’bout Christmas and decorating and presents and stuff. They put some lights and round things that smell like pine trees in all the windows. And they put a tree with twinkly lights up inside the house. Hey! It’s not even a real tree! Who puts a fake tree in their house??? And they decorated the tree with all sorts of purrty hanging things (the hanging things are fun to play with too!). What’s going on???
The LWTYH told me that last year I spent Christmas outside in the cold and snow. So I missed celebrating Christmas and all this stuff like putting up a tree and decorating and waiting for Santa Paws.
And, yeah…who IS this Santa Paws and can he really see me all the time??? The LWTYH says I hafta be good so Santa Paws will bring me presents. Well, I think I already got the bestest present when I came to live here!
Oh, yeah…and napping under this fake tree isn’t so bad!! I think I’m gonna like Christmas!!!

Last year I too was outside in the cold and didn’t get to celebrate Christmas. I am all kinds of excited and can’t wait for Santa Claws to come visit!

Zoey, you look so much like my sister Ginger who has been camping under the Christmas tree ever since we put it up. I will have mom work on getting a picture of her. We all agree, a forever home is the best gift of all!

Zoey you are such a sweet cat. Christmas is a time when you will have lots of fun things to play with and some yummy extra fuuds too. There’ll be lots of wrapping paper and ribbons to rip up and go mad with too. That’s a very sweet picture of you under the tree. Handy Tip: Please don’t bite the pretty lights.

I wasn’t even borned last Christmas – not was my pesky little bruvfurr Alfie – so this will be our very first Christmas. You look gorjuss under that tree – and of course you will be able to protect all your presents when the beans put them there. You’re sure to have lots and lots – it being your first Christmas inside!
That’s sad that you spent yure last Chrissymas outside, Zoey. Blanche sez many yeers ago, she wuz outside in da cold at Chrissymas too. Dats why she never wants to get away from the fire, we thinkz. Hey Zoey! I think you will love Christmas. I sure do. I curl up under the fake tree for a good nap every now and then, too. I learned my lesson with batting the pretty things off of the tree, though. I have been good about leaving ’em alone this year! I am so glad you get to stay warm this Christmas!

Christmas is fun Zoey. Not only do you get a tree to sleep under, it is good for climbing too. It has lots of shiny things on it for whapping as well.

I was a little confuzzled my first Christmas, too, but man it turned out to be AWESOME! Santa is totally cool…he always leaves good things. Be sure to leave him some cookies!
Oh, Zoey! That is our most favoritest thing to do with the tree! The first year we climbed it, until we discovered the tree skirt! We are SO glad you are not outside for Christmas anymore!
