Everyone wants to know…
What’s That Wally Doing?

So today I was all ready to do a nice post about Christmas and decorations and stuff…but then mom told me she didn’t have time to help me with it.  See…she’s a little peeved at me ‘cuz last night I threw up all over the bed.  Hey!!  I’m sorry, okay??  But I couldn’t help it.  I was all curled up on the bed snoozing when I started to feel a little queasy…and I just didn’t have enough time to get off the bed before…well, you know.  And it was really gross!  I wanted mom to take a picture to show all of you but she didn’t think that was a good idea…

Mom’s just upset ‘cuz she didn’t find out about it until she was going to bed…and by then there was a purrty good mess.  So there she was at midnight, taking everything off of the bed and then she had to change the sheets and stuff…she wasn’t real happy…

But it wasn’t until after she got all done and put the dirty sheets into the washer that she turned to me and sed “Are you okay?”  Hmpfh!!  She shoulda been worried about me from the get-go!  I mean, I’m the one that threw up!!  I coulda really been sick or something!  I should be peeved at her! Hmpfh!!!

(Actually, I don’t think she was really mad at me…and yeah, I’m okay…I think I just ate my crunchies a little too fast…)

  1. HAHHAHA that was our house last night too!! Only my sisfur Mushka.. it is getting hotter and although Momma brushes and pets us regular we still get the fur balls.. haha Mushka did a good one on Momma’s expensive gold quilt too! Momma was quite upset, but like your Momma went looking for her to check she was ok hehe
It is a funny thing to watch! :))

  2. Wow, we hope you are ok Wally!

Texas did that once too, but it was worse cuz our beans were IN the bed. Tex was sleeping on top of the bed in between the beans (fortunately between their feets, not closer to their tummies like he sometimes did) and Mom woke up to hear this gurgling noise. And then she noticed her foot felt welt! Ewwwwwwww! They had to get up in the middle of the night and change everything. They were NOT happy. But yes, he was fine. He was a fierce mancat and sometimes gorged himself a bit too much on food- especially when he would go down in the middle of the night, eat tons, and then go back to sleep with mom and dad.

  3. Ahh yes, puke in the bed. Our mommy also does not find it to be too pleasant, but a cats gotta do what a cats gotta do! Cal was doing that quite often, not just on the bed, but any surface that was not slick, like a rug or even towel. She couldn’t understand why he couldn’t just do it on the bare floor. hehehe

  4. Wally, you gots to slow down on those treats! They are so good and we know how hard it is not the scarf them right down. Great “meatloaf” pose!

  5. Hope you are feeling better now Wally. Don’t know why the Beans don’t appreciate a bit of yak, but they all seem to be the same. I prefer to leave mine in the middle of the carpet where they can find it if they have to get out in the middle of the night. Sometimes you have to cover your ears when it all squooshes up between their toes.

  6. Better out than in Wally, that’s what we say!

Last year when Angel was poorly, she puked up a bucket load IN the bed, lots of it landed in Mum’s hair too, oh how we laffed n’ laffed!

Puking on the bed = 100 Bonus Points!

  7. We hopes you are feeling better after that yak, Wally!

  8. Well, Wally, that’s not the most FUN thing you’ve ever been doing! We are glad you are feeling better. Besides, fresh, clean sheets are always a good thing!

  9. Hope you’re feeling better Wally! When I got to throw up I usually do it right NEXT to the bed, so my beans’ll step right in it!

  10. Oh, I guess it wasn’t very plesant for YOU neither! Puking is so exhausting. I’m glad you only took it to fast on the crunchies.

  11. Oh no! Your poor tummy. Bomiting is no fun at all. I’ve never done it on the bed. I prefer out of the way places so once it is discovered it is harder to clean up.

I hope you’re feeling better! I think your mommy was worried about you. She was just sleepy and didn’t do things like paying attention to you first in the right order.

  12. Wally, I feel your pain! You said you were sorry! It’s not like you can help a huge yak from coming up! Momssss!

  13. Tell your mommy that she needs to buy some, “OUT!” it’s at Walmart, she thinks and she sez it’s the best thing she ever bought. It cleans up all our messes – and some of Man-slave’s too! She sez she’s happy cuz she can even put it in the warshin’ musheen. Weez always spittin’ up sumpin’ around here – just this mornin’ Lady-slave found a big, dark puddle on the dinin’ room floor! It was yucky too! She sez she know how you feelz about the ones in the middle of the night when yure tryin’ to get some shut-eye!

P.S. We thinks it was mean not to ask you how you wuz before she washed the sheets!

I did this same exact thing last Saturday night … well I should say Sat Morning, it was 3AM that I start doing the irp irp irp thing and woke Momma up. I threw up on top of her and then I spread it across the bed as she was trying to get up to help me. So she had to get up and take the blanket into the washer and put on a load … she wasn’t upset with me or anything but it was a bit disconcerting to be awaken like that.

  18. Oh goodness dat sure isnt furry nice of your mom to NOT be worried bout yoo first!

  19. Yak happens Wally, we’ve all been there and done that…

  20. I eat my crunchies too fast all the time. But I have never yakked on mum’s bed.

  21. Oh, someone is always urping up something on the bed…though it’s never been me…really. It’s usually Ginger or my momma Ellie or Jonesie…never me. That’s why we have 2 sets of everything around here.

  22. I also throw up when I eat too fast, which happens every once in a while.

I’m glad you’re feeling better now.

    Paws ‘n Claws,
    Rupert
