My furiend, Spitty, gave me…just me and not those other cats that live here…this great award!  Thanks, Spitty!!  The only requirement for this award is to share an illuminating fact or story about myself.

I don’t know if this is illuminating or not, but did you know that I’m one of the worst patients that my v-e-t has?  When I get put into that PTU (prisoner transport unit…so aptly named, IMO) and taken to the v-e-t, I let everyone there know just how much I HATE being there!  I’m a holy terror!  I scream and growl and hiss and try to attack anyone that comes near me.  The v-e-t is afraid of me!  That’s right…she’s afraid of a little ol’ 10 lb. cat like me.  And that’s the way I want to keep our relationship.  I may be small, but I’m fierce!

Now, I’m supposed to pass this award on to 5 other bloggers.  Well, I’ve lost track of who has this award already…so, if you haven’t received it yet, I am passing it on to you!  Illuminate us!!

  1. Who would have known, Zoey! Little old you so fierce. I hope you do let them check you out when necessary, though. I, Simba, get very timid at the vet’s and hide my face in Mom’s armpit if I can. The Vet can still give me my shots that way, though. One they took me to the “back room” for some blues, and Mom suspects it took some assistants to get my cooperation for THAT!

  2. We’ll have to say you are braver than us Zoey – we try and look tiny and insignificant so the vet can’t see us!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

  3. Oh Zoey, that is good to hear that you have that vet all trained. Our MewMew is the same way. She growls and hisses and it takes our person a lot of tricks to get her in the carrier. Hope you all have a great day and a better week end.

  4. That is pretty illuminating pretty Zoey, especially for the Vet MOL!

  5. consider me illuminated. i will not approach you if i ever see you in your ptu.

  6. concats on the award!! ivy says 4 paws up for attitude with the v-e-t…..

  7. Congrats on the award. I would like to learn to be fierce with the vet like you.

  8. Our Mommy says you remind her SO much of a cat she had that everyone was scared of! She too was small and fierce! Her name was Desdemona (Desi).

We think it’s good to be tough at the vet so they don’t do any extra things that don’t need doing! Plus, you’re so pretty that we’re sure everyone loves you anyway.

    Congrats on your award, Zoey!

  9. Zoey I bet there is a picture of you in the dictionary by the word dy-no-mite!!

Good for you keeping the 2 leggers on their toes.
    Hugs Madi

  10. You raise heck, Zoey! The vets need a little terror in their lives once in a while 🙂

I’m very hard to catch and I make a lot of noise in the PTU. My human thinks I just don’t like the PTU. I calm down when I’m out of it.

  11. Congratulations on your award!

  12. Great award Zoey!!!
    Have a fun weekend!

  13. My oomn sisfur has a cat like that – the vet has to sedate her before they can do anything -unless they want to lose their own life. You are a spunky one!

  14. You tell’em Zoey! Don’t let them get the upper hand (or paw)!

  15. Congratulations on your award… You are very brave to tell you story. Very good.

    Have a great weekend.

    pawhugs, Max

  16. That’s quite surprising! We would never have guessed. 🙂 Congratulations on your award, you little tiger!

  17. Well, no kitteh worth their salt actually enjoys going to see the vet, but I am impressed that you can put the fear into her, MOL.

  18. I wish I could be fierce at the vet’s like you, Zoey, but I have to confess, I am a little scaredy-cat!

  19. Concats on your award Zoey, and good for you for keeping the vets on their toes.

  20. We bet your v-e-t makes your stay as quick as possible! Great idea acting that way!

  21. Wow, you dont look like a terror!

  22. Zoe
    You are a fierce tigeress!

  23. ConCatulations on that fun award! We’re impressed by your skills. Mom’s woofie, Katie, was 12 lbs of terror at the VET. She once knocked down the whole exam table with 2 VETs and 3 techs trying to hold her down!!

  24. We’re soul sisters, Zoey. My file at the v-e-t is “flagged.” I believe the word they used was “cantankerous.”
    ; ) Katie

  25. Zoey you are not one to be intimidated by the VET to show them that you are in fact in charge definetly one to look up to.

  26. Congrats on the award, and that is what all GOOD kitties do! Show that v-e-t who is boss!

  27. We never would have guessed! We don’t usually act up. Our bad language really embarrasses our mom. Hmmm…maybe we should rethink our policy!

  28. Congratulations on the award! Angel is terrified at the vets and tries to hide!

  29. Darling Zoey, that is the PURRFECT story because as you know, MY illuminating fact had to do with MY refusal to get into one a them troll boxes! I am proud of you!

  30. Zoey, we would never have thought of you like that but it’s good you keep the vet on guard! That’s a very pretty photo of you!

  31. Zoe! Me loves that yous is just as great a hellion at the vets as me is! What a illuminating thing to finds out about yous!
