I don’t know if this is illuminating or not, but did you know that I’m one of the worst patients that my v-e-t has? When I get put into that PTU (prisoner transport unit…so aptly named, IMO) and taken to the v-e-t, I let everyone there know just how much I HATE being there! I’m a holy terror! I scream and growl and hiss and try to attack anyone that comes near me. The v-e-t is afraid of me! That’s right…she’s afraid of a little ol’ 10 lb. cat like me. And that’s the way I want to keep our relationship. I may be small, but I’m fierce!
Now, I’m supposed to pass this award on to 5 other bloggers. Well, I’ve lost track of who has this award already…so, if you haven’t received it yet, I am passing it on to you! Illuminate us!!

Who would have known, Zoey! Little old you so fierce. I hope you do let them check you out when necessary, though. I, Simba, get very timid at the vet’s and hide my face in Mom’s armpit if I can. The Vet can still give me my shots that way, though. One they took me to the “back room” for some blues, and Mom suspects it took some assistants to get my cooperation for THAT!
We’ll have to say you are braver than us Zoey – we try and look tiny and insignificant so the vet can’t see us!

Oh Zoey, that is good to hear that you have that vet all trained. Our MewMew is the same way. She growls and hisses and it takes our person a lot of tricks to get her in the carrier. Hope you all have a great day and a better week end.

Our Mommy says you remind her SO much of a cat she had that everyone was scared of! She too was small and fierce! Her name was Desdemona (Desi).
We think it’s good to be tough at the vet so they don’t do any extra things that don’t need doing! Plus, you’re so pretty that we’re sure everyone loves you anyway.

I’m very hard to catch and I make a lot of noise in the PTU. My human thinks I just don’t like the PTU. I calm down when I’m out of it.

My oomn sisfur has a cat like that – the vet has to sedate her before they can do anything -unless they want to lose their own life. You are a spunky one!

ConCatulations on that fun award! We’re impressed by your skills. Mom’s woofie, Katie, was 12 lbs of terror at the VET. She once knocked down the whole exam table with 2 VETs and 3 techs trying to hold her down!!
