Since the weather has gotten colder, I’ve been doing more lamp bathing. This light puts out a lotta heat, and it sure feels good on my furs!! But I can lamp bathe only at night because that’s when the light’s on. I don’t know why this light can’t stay on 24/7 for me. My mom says it’s wasteful, and talks about something called an “electric bill” being too high. Hey!! I’m worth it, don’tcha think??

My favorite for lamp-bathing is hot halogen lights! But I am only allowed there under supervision.
That sounds like another one of those silly human rules, of course you should have the lamp all of the time. Warm furs are impawtant!!!
Yup we totally agree. That lamp should stay on all the time to keep those gorgeous black furs all nice and warm. Those black furs are the best. We sure hope all of you have a super Sunday.

Can I let you in on a secret? I like it when it’s a bit chilly in the house, because then the cats come and snuggle up to me instead of finding warm spots elsewhere!!
We like to lamp bathe too. All lamps should be on 24-7 when it’s chilly out!!

I used to have a black cat that did that too! He would sit up tall and keep his head under the lamp shade, then he’d lean down and peek out to see what was going on before going back in the shade! Kitties will take heat wherever they can find it!
Your mom obviously has priorities that are not your priorities! Should you get a mom swap?
Ernie, I think when the lamp turns off, You can go for Warm snuggling in bed.

We has this great light that only comes on in the winter and when we is growing seeds. It has all the good stuff that is in sunshine and me LOVES when it is on! It feels so wonderful!
Me thinks peoples should know us cats is more important and leave the lights on!

Our picture frame arrived, looks cute and now mum has to fine a good picture for it.
Hmmm….we never thought of lamp bathing! Most of our lamps are in the ceiling, so that must be why. Ernie, we don’t understand why you would even ask if you are worth it! Of course you are! No question!

I have never tried such bathing. I don’t think our lamps are big enough. Banshee is always smelling the bulbs. Maybe she senses some heating possibilities but is unsure. I will show her this post.

We think you are totally worth it! We also like how you strategically placed yourself next to the couch so that you can get scritches while you are bathing!
Of course you are worth it! We have CFLs at our house, so there isn’t much warms from light here.
I like to warm myself under the light, too. Then when Mom turns out the lights at night, I snuggle in bed with her to stay warm!
