Do you think if I keep putting a fake mousie in my dish
the lady with the yellow hair will take the hint
and get me a real one??

It’s been a long time since I had a REAL mousie!!

This one went for a swim.  Heehee!!

Nope, these fake ones just aren’t as tasty as the real thing!!

  1. Sorry, the bean must now get a fresh cup of coffee… she dribbled the last of the other all over her chin since she was laughing so hard at this little “mouse tale”.

  2. sorry they’re not tasty. mabye if you keep dropping them in the foods they will taste better

  3. Zoey, I think that your lady might get the hint now!

  4. Awww, Zoey, you are gonna have to put ALL your fake mousies in the bowls I think for your Mum to take the hint. But thinking about it, a nice warm home, love and toys are not a bad trade off against the feral life, even if real mousies aren’t included in the deal. I was once a feral fella and it was no fun at all. I think you can buy frozen real mousies in pet stores (for feeding lizards) not sure they would be as much fun as a live one though.

  5. We love our fake mousies nice and wet too. Mom always has said she’d like to bring home a real mousie sometime and see what we’d do.

  6. Ha ha ha!!! My momma does the same thing with her fake mousies…my mom has yet to serve up a real one.

  7. And they say animals can’t speak. I don’t know what’s not clear about what this cat is saying!

  8. Maybe if you drop some in mom’s shoes a few times, she will get the hint.

  9. I know what you mean! They always look so tantalizing with all that real fur, but they are all dried up inside and not tasty at all.

  10. Tee hee! That’s some hint. I must try that!

  11. I keep doing that but you know what? The Woman just takes them out…

  12. Yup. We used to dunk ours in the water bowls too. Then we got tired of that.

  13. That is a very clear hint. If she doesn’t get you a real one after that, I wouldn’t know what to do…

  14. TANG,…”Setzer told us of all the things he caught to survive on the streets like mice, frogs, birds and (sorry mom)…cute little chipmunks! Cherokee won’t speak of his street days…he is just glad that memory has faded! My birth mommy was caught before my 2 sisters and I were born so we were very lucky. I have bad balance so I probably would not have survived out there. Zoey, stick with the fake mice, they might not be tasty but you won’t get a sickness from them!!!!=^Y^=the Cat Street Boyz

  15. It probably won’t work, she will just move it out of your dish.

Please keep our Maggie Mae in your Purayers. She may have had a stroke.

  16. Our mum never gives us real live mousies. We have to catch our own. There is a little round and deep hole in the garden where the washing line used to be and I like to put my mousies in it because when it rains the water goes in it and the mousies get washed.

  17. Haha Zoey My sisfur Mushka used to put all her put mousies in the water and her food too!! Momma evens saw her once, she did not thwap them in or anything, she carried them, then put them in nice and gentle like.
Momma thinks it woz maybee just her mothering instincts coming out (even though she can not have babehs).
Now I haz come along there has been nothing 🙂

  18. I’ve always been wanting a real mousie! Evan says “maybe one day” and Rachel says “never!!!” I’m still working on her…

  19. Zoey,I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for a real mouse!!! Most Mom’s are all EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!! about mice 😉
Now,if one happens to get in your house……

  20. Zoey, I DO THE SAME THING WITH MY MOUSIES!!! I also hook-shot them into the open toilet, and sometimes, they get flushed! Accidently, of course.

  21. It’s a excellent way to send a message.

  22. Zoey, you crack us up! We get our ping pong balls stuck in our bowls sometimes, when there is a particularly energetic game of soccer on, but that is just an accident. We haven’t thought of putting toys in:)

  23. Sometimes I try to take my favourite toys and hide them in one of my caves, but not in my food bowls.

Maybe if you’re lucky a real mousie will invade your house and you can catch it! That happened to me once. I caught a birdie in my house once too. But that was the Rodent-Lady’s pet, and my OTW made me give it back.

  24. Don’t worry Zoey, I never get any real mouses either. It’s not fair.
