Mom found this feather out in the yard.

We don’t know what kind of bird it was from…
but it must’ve been a big bird ‘cuz it’s a big feather!
Dad said it might be from a hawk…

I don’t know, Wally…that’s a mean looking bird!
We could take him, Ernie!
So we both got our licks and kicks in….

Take that, hawk!! You’re no match for us mancats!!!
(biggify to see the damage done so far)

Um, we do not think you would want to take on a hawk-they have some serious talons, dudes. And have you seen their beaks? A Mighty Hunter must know when to walk away. Or hide.

Fev-ver are great things to tear up! There’s a really big on up on top the book case I want to get at, but the massage therapist has that booby trapped so i can’t get at it.

You are so lucky! A real feather from a real birdie from the real outside!

Fev-vers are great fun to play with, but hawk fev-vers are best when they are not attached to the hawk.

I am certain that if you practice enough with the feather, you will soon be able to take on the entire hawk!

Very manly! Be careful of the hawk, though. They look kinda mean.
We have never seen a real live fev-ver before. I think we are deprived.

Very cool feather! Is it from some sort of Island birdie?

Good work on that feather – somehow I have the feeling it’s not going to survive much longer!
