Hi! Wally here! It’s time for our mom’s purrformance review! And we got it done in the nick of time (since today’s the last day for them)! As the oldest, I get to be the spokescat and go over how mom’s been doing with our blog so far…
Quantity of Output: Well, this is one area where we think our mom’s lacking…but not by much. We don’t get to post everyday…mom says she just doesn’t have the time to help us come up with good ideas and post everyday. So we only get to blog about 5 times a week…oh yeah, if there’s something special going on, she’ll make an exception and help us post more. Overall, we’re okay with this. But we’re still only giving her 3 Paws…
Quality of Output: We’re satified on this one, too. She tries not to use unflattering pictures of us…well, the ones showing our ‘tocks were a little embarrassing…but most pictures are good. (How could they not be?? They’re of us!!) And she’ll usually type exactly what we wanna say. We’re a little disappointed we haven’t had a blog re-design done. We’re kinda tired of this template that we’ve been using. We mean, who IS that cat on our header anyway?? Is he or she even an Island Cat?? We think not! But mom says that switching to a new design might mean we’d hafta start our blog all over again and we don’t wanna do that!! So we’ll give her a pass. For the most part, we’re happy with the quality…so we’ll give her 3 Paws!
But she gets 2 Swats for not learning PhotoShop yet…even though she does use Blingee and Pikipimp sometimes…it’s just not the same…
Client Pawticipation: 4 Paws on this one!!! We have our own e-mail address and our furiends can and do contact us!!! And we try to visit as many of our furiends as we can every day!!! We have our own Twitter account even though we don’t tweet much anymore. And she just signed up for that Face-thingey but she says she hasn’t figured out how it works yet…that’s okay…we’d rather have her help us blog…
Pawticipation (Part II): Another 4 Paws here! We try to participate in almost everything going on in the blogosphere…contests, parties and special events like BlogBlast for Peace, Doing the Q and Meow Like a Pirate Day. Really…we don’t miss much.
Client Satisfaction: We haven’t gotten any complaints (yet) so we think our furiends are happy with our blog. Or at least we’d like to think they are!! 4 Paws here again!!
Overall Rating: Overall, we’re giving our mom 3 1/2 Paws! She sure works real hard, but there’s some room for improvment!!
Island Cats’ mom here! Well, thanks for that good rating! I try to do what you want…BUT…I have a couple of issues I’d like to raise with the 3 of you…
First…you got to stop sitting in front of the computer screen when I am trying to get your posts done! I know you’re “snoopervising”, but it makes it difficult to see what I am doing!
Second…if you want good pictures of yourselves posted, then you’re going to have to pose for the camera…or “flashy box” as you call it. I know the flash hurts your eyes sometimes and I try not to use it when I don’t have to…but closing your eyes or running away does not make for good photos!!!
Third…you got to start doing some fun things that we can blog about…cute pictures of you sleeping all the time do not make good copy! Your friends want to see you doing fun stuff…like playing and wrestling. So come on!! Do something!!
Okay…that’s my review of your “Purrformance!”

Oh this is so funny. Mom and I are lol!!! Guys your mom has good points though especially about the blog template….Mom is also afraid to change hers. We’ve notice lots of folks have Christmas templates….we’ll just enjoy theirs.

Mom’s afraid to change ours too, she tried it once and we thought we losted EVERYTHING! So we’ll live with the one we’ve got until mom gets a brain, er, some help, with it.

Y’know, we think yours is the only one where we saw the mom take over and post a rebuttal! MOL Overall, though, you guys did a pretty fair review, we think. We love your bloggie and always make sure to come visit…when our Mommy is not being a lazybones and not letting us visit *anyone*. (Sheesh. We need to take more points off her review.)
