Hey, Ernie! Have you seen what the vishus deer have been doing??
Yeah, Wally!! They’ve been eating mom’s mums!!!
Look!! They’ve made dinner out of that yellow one!!!
And they’ve been munching this red one too, Ernie!!
They’ve even been eating
the left-over ivy in the window box!!
Yeah, Wally…they come in the middle of the night
when no one sees them!!
Ernie, those deers aren’t just vishus…
They’re sneaky too!!!

Hi Wally and Ernie,
OH MY WORD you have deer come that close to your home. You must live near a forest. I’m so sorry they are destroying your moms mums!!!
I see an empty spot on your window sit….just enough room for me to sit….in my mind I am there with you. You guys must thoroughly enjoy sitting there. If Mom and I had a window seat, we’d never leave.

And I’m jealous on your perch too!!!

Wow, those vishus deer are sure hungry. How did they get on the island? They must be good swimmers or something!
October 26th, 2009 at 8:24 am
Whoa…at leat they are eating your stinky goodness…now that would mean war.
We had a vishus deer in our yard once. Mom and dad were actually excited about it! It was a young one and it stayed the night and left in the wee hours of the morning. They said they wanted it to stay!!!!! Can you believe that?
October 26th, 2009 at 8:25 am
Mom can’t type….she meant to say it as I dictated it…”at least they are NOT eating your stinky goodness”.
good help is hard to find.

October 26th, 2009 at 9:42 am
That’s skeery – we don’t like the vishus deer getting that close to the house.

We have sneaky vishus deers here too. Sometimes they show up at the edge of the woods in the afternoon, but mostly they eat flower tops at night.
October 26th, 2009 at 3:03 pm
I can’t believe how sneaky those deers are – I have never seen them get that close to a house and eat flowers! Crazy!
October 26th, 2009 at 3:37 pm
Deer are a problem around here too…good luck in scaring them off guys…maybe you can stay up and show them who’s the boss around your house tonight.

Those vishus deer don’t have the nerve to come eat your mom’s flowers during the day when you can see them. That’s just down right sneaky!
October 26th, 2009 at 5:42 pm
They come that close to your house? That would make for pretty pictures.

Lousy stinkin’ deers! If they want to eat mums, they should plant their own!

Oh deer, oh deer, wait, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a real deer…except for the funny ones that Santa had on our roof…they didn’t eat our plants though!
October 26th, 2009 at 8:33 pm
Oh dear, oh dear. Never knew they prefer their food pretty.
October 26th, 2009 at 9:43 pm
That isn’t nice that the deer are eating your moms flowers. Too bad you don’t have a guard doggie that could scare them off. That would teach them for sure.
October 26th, 2009 at 10:09 pm
It does look tasty…
October 26th, 2009 at 10:20 pm
You have deer?! How cool is that? We don’t have deer in South Florida…
October 27th, 2009 at 4:19 am
