Hey!  Let’s flashback to November 2008

and see what I doing back then!

Do you think if I keep putting a fake mousie in my dish

the lady with the yellow hair will take the hint

and get me a real one??

It’s been a long time since I had a REAL mousie!!!

This one went for a swim.  Heehee!!

Nope, these fake ones just aren’t as tasty as the real thing!!

Come to think of it…after 4 years, I still haven’t had a real mousie!

I hope you enjoyed flashing back with me!!

Love the fake mousie going for a swim. Hope it didn’t drown. We are going to see if we can figure a way to send you a real mouse. We know that lady with the yellow hair would really like that. MOL. Hope all of you have a great week end.

  2. The Florida Furkids Says:

Sniffie used to love putting her toys in the water bowl and food bowl. We noticed Raz did that the other day too!

since the fake mouse didn’t work i think you should up the ante and put a fake rat in your dish. the lady with the yellow hair might respond to that.

  4. Laila and Minchie Says:

Zoey, are you sure those mousies aren’t real? If we get your name in the Santa Paws drawing, we will send you a real mousie!

I can sends you a real mousie TOO. Well, maybe not this year mommy said she hopes, but when I first came here, there was a tiny opening around a pipe and mommy had several mousies come into the house. I dedded them!

  16. Colehaus Cats Says:

Hey, that mousie in the dish looks awfully familiar. Now where did I see…ah, yes! That happens here at least once a week too! Fishing fake mousies out is much better than fishing the real ones. Just sayin’…have a great weekend!

  17. Whisppy Says:

HAHA! We have the same mousies! But for some strange reason, only the white ones get played a lot. We don’t put them in our bowls but we disembowel them fairly quickly. MOL.

  18. Abby Says:

Zoey I say it’s time for you to get a real treat–a mouse of your own.

  19. Layla Morgan Wilde (Cat Wisdom 101) Says:

Odin thinks it’s the saddest think he’s heard and would gladly send one of his catches but it might be stinky by the time it arrives. Maybe FedEx on dry ice?

  20. CATachresis Says:

It’s the mouse killing fields here. Shall I send a couple over?? Have a great weekend xx

  21. Lynettea Says:

We sometimes have rats here and we would welcome a visit from you to take one home.

great flashback, Zoey! you are too funny with your nip mousies :) they just aren’t the same tho, huh? you’d think the lady with the yellow hair could encourage a few real ones to come into the house for you…we mean really, is that asking too much?!?

    Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie

  23. LP Says:

I guess there ain’t nothing like the REAL thing Zoey…
On the other hand…you got the real thing in every other department with your new family… minus the outside mousies… so the balance is definitely there!

Have a good weekend sweetie :)

the critters in the cottage xo

  24. BeadedTail Says:

We’ve never had a real mousie either. Maybe we’ll get one from Santa this year! Enjoy your weekend Zoey!

  25. Sparkle Says:

So I guess leaving the fake mousie in your bowls did not work. Humans overlook the obvious once again!

The fake mouse in the water dish…..LOL!

WE do not think the Lady with the yellow hair would appreciate a real mouse

  29. Spitty the Kitty Says:

Why this is an OUTRAGE! No, not the lack of real mice–but rather the EMPTY BOWLS. That is a truly horrific sight–kittens, turn away. It’s too shocking for the young.

  30. Jasper Jazzbones Says:

I’ve got pictures of real mousies in my bowlie. Maybe a birdie in a bowlie too.

  31. Whisker Patrol Says:

Ha, that’s so funny that they’d put their mice in the bowl. What a crystal clear message that was!

  32. Athena Says:

No real mousie for me, either. I have a toy red one.

  33. Zee and Zoey - Deb Barnes Says:

Is that where our mousie went? It seems like the human buys us one everytime she goes to the pet store and they all mysteriously disappear….

  34. Cathy Keisha Says:

You really kilt that fake smousy. The cat before me caught a real one once!

  35. Rykers Boyz n allie Says:

Did you ever get a REAL mousie?? We’re dying to get one of those but we aren’t sure how to order them on the internetz. Hrm, so does dunking a fake mousie in the water bowl make it taste better?
