Hi, everybuddy!  It’s me…Ernie!  The peoples at Mr. Chewy asked us if we would try the Nature’s Variety Instinct Raw Boost Bites and let everybuddy know what we thought of them.  Hey, I get treats??  Count me in!!

According to Mr. Chewy, the Raw Boost Bites are a pure and healthy treat made from minimally processed, freeze-dried raw ingredients.  They’re totally grain-free.  The mom has been looking for grain-free treats for us that we’ll eat.

We tried the chicken flavored ones.  They also come in beef, venison and lamb.  And here’s an interesting thing…they’re for cats AND woofies!  A multi-purpose treat!!  They’re a little big, so the mom broke one into smaller pieces for us.

What do I think of the Raw Boost Bites??  YUM!!!  I gobbled my pieces up and went looking for more!!

But Wally was not enamored and turned his nose up to them.  That’s okay…more for me!!

Zoey loves them, too!

Now at $9.99 a bag (through Mr. Chewy), Raw Boost Bites are a little pricier than your average kitty treat, but really, when you think about the fact that there’s about 18 in a bag and you can break one up easily into about 5-6 smaller pieces (that’s what the mom did), they’re really not that much more expensive.  And they’re a YUMMY treat that’s GOOD FOR YOU!  You can’t beat that!!

So here’s how we came out on the Nature’s Variety Instinct Raw Boost Bites:

Zoey – 4 paws up

Wally – 4 paws down (eh, he doesn’t know what he’s missing)

Me – 4 paws (with extra toesies) up

As Meatloaf sang… ♫ Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad!! ♫

(Disclaimer:  We did get the Nature’s Variety Instinct Raw Boost Bites for free when we agreed to do this review, but that’s all we got, and it did not influence our opinion about them.)

Grain free is a good way to go, and it does always seem more expensive. But then, why pay for grains that aren’t natural to their diet anyway?

  18. mary Says:

I love Wally’s refusal to acknowledge treat! I’ve definitely gotten that reaction from my kitties before!

That was a great review Ernie! We haven’t tried those yet but Mommy says we will eventually. She’s a slow poke. At 5-6 treats per dealy bob, that’d be two days of treats for us!

  27. Daisy the Curly Cat Says:

That is one of my FAVORITE treats! My Mommeh breaks them up and I get a few little pieces at a time.

  28. Cathy Keisha Says:

Ooooh! Two out of three cats liking the treats isn’t bad :) Carmine and Milita are pretty picky about their treats, but Jewel will eat just about anything, LOL! I bet they would go for the chicken out of the available falvors, so I may have to check them out sometime. :) Thanks for sharing the review!

  37. Rene S. Says:

I’ll bet we’d like those–we like freeze dried chicken–so we should try these too.
